Logic & Sibelius Rewire Sync

A quick tutorial in how to sync Logic Pro X and Sibelius together using rewire. This is a great work flow for arranging, doing takedowns, or tracking audio in Logic from notation you've done in Sibelius.

i did everything you describe here, and when i create an auxiliar chanel, the rewire optino does not appear :S any idea why this could happen? I have Sibelius 6

Thank you so much! Working on a piece for ensemble and fixed media and that was previously an oboe and fixed media piece. Trying to add the audio file as a movie as sibelius suggests = horribly asynchronous playback. This works perfectly.

Hey, thanks for this. I have set it up using this video and rewire is working correctly however there are two bugs. First is that when you press play, the first note in Sibelius is not performed by the program. Secondly, the metronome in Sibelius is very temperamental, it often delays so that sometimes it sounds like swung time! Have you experienced these issues?

Hi, I've done the sync as you described, it works well, but I have one problem. Maybe you can help me: When I want to start my song in Sibelius from a bar in the middle of the song, the playback always starts from the beginning of the song. In Logic it works, I can start from every bar.

Thanks for the video. I'm using Sibelius 6 and Logic Pro X but cannot get Rewire to work whatsoever. I need some help, have read lots of info but can't find a resolution. Any ideas? I'm on 10.12.6 and using an Intel MBP from late 2011. Sibelius simply does not show up as an option under the Aux channel as an option.

Yes! I found a way! I can syncronize Sibelius to Logic and connect to Vienna Ensemble Pro to play Kontakt

For anyone using M1 mac!!, you have to load logic with rosetta otherwise logic won't show sibelius
