In gfg I tried to solve this problem(remove the loop). They are multiple test cases, in one of them, they gave circular linked list. so after detecting the cycle we cant assign prev = fast(it wont enter into that statement). so we have to assign prev = slow inside the first while loop. void removeLoop(Node* head) { Node *fast = head, *slow = head, *prev; while(fast!=NULL && fast->next!=NULL){ prev = slow; //line added(for circular linked list)// fast = fast->next->next; slow = slow->next; if(slow == fast){ slow = head; while(slow!=fast){ prev = fast; slow = slow->next; fast = fast->next; } prev->next = NULL; } } }

I thought of adding the video after completing decent amt of DSA videos. Pick a language -cpp/java/python. Learn thoroughly. Make a mini project. Then you should decide your stream and tech stack. Keep learning a lot - you can learn freely from youtube itself. Learn DSA. Solve a lot of questions in leetcode.

we have head and we have to parse till head is equal to that node and if it happens then cycle happens, Displaying elements of circular linked list is approach. Start node will be the first node. To remove the cycle, we need to assign last node's next to null

you are mentioning about circular linked list. The cycle can happen anywhere within the list, not necessarily last->head. This video is about detecting such cycles or loops. Here, you might not know which are all the nodes that are part of cycle. The scenario you have mentioned is of course very simple to handle.
