Hello, please help me I am now desperate, I bought this camera month ago had some death in family and did not even tried it, today I tried and when I plug the camera my PC recognise it as c920? I can't call the store because it has been a month... And picture is bad extremely also and there isn't autofocus. Any advice?

Hi, where did you buy it? If purchased online, there are sometimes unscrupulous vendors who take advantage of unsuspecting buyers. They sometimes sell counterfeit products, used items, out of warranty items, or the old bait and switch where you think you are buying one thing and they send you something else. Hi marcito 3287, can you please provide more information? What computer and operating system are you using? Did you purchase from authorized Logitech reseller? Have you downloaded Logi Tune software to manage webcam?

And there's the problem. It's not compatible with Windows 7. Most webcams have a list of System Requirements that share what they are compatible with. Here's the list for Logitech C930e: SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS Compatible with Windows 8 or later macOS 10.7 or later ChromeOS Version 29.0.1547.70 and higher 2 GB RAM or more needed for 1080p video streaming 1 GB is typically needed for streaming 720p USB-A port Compatible with Microsoft DirectShow Works with popular calling platforms I recommend that before you buy your next webcam, to check system requirements. Does it support mirror mode at source? I couldn't for the life of me find it. I receive conference calls from multiple softwares(Teams, webex etc) and it is a pain to set software mirror mode in each. I didn't even know a webcam may NOT come with a hardware mirror mode. None of the logitech softwares give the option for this model. Pretty disappointed with this product tbh. I run my stuff on a low power portable SBC into Remote desktop to Windows 365 and a software level conversion is just not for me. It sounds like such a basic feature not present.

I got a Logitech C930c coming in the post. I got it for like $50 AUD off because it's the chinese model. Apparently has Chinese language firmware. The same though as the 'e' variant apparently. (Got it for $105 AUD).

We've had customers who opt to purchase via unauthorized sources and end up with previously used, counterfeit, or grey-market items that may not have a warranty or be supported by the manufacturer. With proliferation of 3rd party marketplaces, it's not always easy to know which vendors are reputable and legit. I know, the lure of the lower price is strong and sometimes the gamble pays off. Hopefully you are one of the lucky ones! My student told me they can see me clearly now and there's no need to have the camera placed far so my big face will not be all over the screen. hahahahha

You are cheating .You cut the video when the autofocus was lagging. DON'T BUY THIS WEBCAM. THE AUTO FOCUS THERE DOESN'T WORK. WHEN YOU MOVE THE WEBCAM IT'S LAGGING, NO FOCUS AT ALL. SAFE YOUR MONEY.
