Thanks for posting this. Same problem. Was debating whether to trim off the flimsy rubber near the speakers. Not thrilled they seem to have such a rampant design flaw in the product but I appreciate you sharing your results and like your outlook. Cheers!

If the keyboard is folded over the ribbon breaks .. so it’s shit, the rubber protection for me still works well, but my daughters has now done the same as yours warped and bubbled

I eventually abandoned it and went with the Apple iPad keyboard.

Thank you I had the same problem and this made me feel more at ease with just keeping the rubber as it is or trimming it off in the future rather than replacing it since the keyboard and case is just the best.

Here it is a few months later, and I find the keyboard is not connecting to my iPad reliably anymore. I ordered an apple Magic Keyboard from eBay. I hope yours holds up longer and that you continue to enjoy it!

I have this same problem on my combo touch, its been only 6 months but the problem started 4 months ago and it started as small then go bigger and bigger. I emailed them and they replaced it immediately with new case and keyboard. I dont even need to send the old defective case. And the new case have this improved design, instead of one large hole for the speakers which may caused the loose side, they have multiple small holes for the speaker.

Wow that’s great! They must have changed their policy - I contacted them but they would only offer a discount code for a new one (I think it was 15% off).

Same issue. Just out of warranty the Logitech Online BOT Chat support was appalling. Just kept sending me the manual. Im done with Logitech.

Mine continued to fall apart and lost conductivity, so I abandoned it, and went with a proper Apple Magic Keyboard

Have the same problem. Logitech will replace if you file a claim with their warranty before the 1 year mark from purchase.

Regret buying this when the sales lady was trying to make me buy the apple one. The sides are so unsightly now and realised so many online are facing same issues. :p

I have also encountered the same problem and the rubber near speakers has now started tearing isn’t there a way to replace the upper case as I do appreciate the keyboard and want the upper case to be replaced (Thanks for sharing this issue as there is no one talking about this)

I contacted Logitech to see if they would replace just the uppercase. They said they are unable to do that but they gave me a 20% off code to buy a whole new upper and lowercase. I refused, and I will continue to use it as is because like I said, I kind of enjoy it more now. I’m not sure how long it will last, but for now… It’s great.
