Logitech Folio Touch vs Combo Touch Comparison

Hi guys! Welcome back again, i have these two keyboard cases for a Ipad pro 11 inch. I initially bought these because i was not sure whats the main difference on both of them. Hopefully this helps you out buying which keyboard to buy! Please comment/like and subscibe to help out the channel :)

I bought the combo touch, really liked it. But one thing, my Apple Pencil falls off many times without the strap so prepare for buying replacement tips and Apple Pencil cases :(

Don't know if it's common knowledge, but I have a little trick I discovered using my combo touch: detach the keyboard FLIP IT backwards reattach it the other way flip it back now you have the keyboard attached to the ipad in the back, and out of the way so you can use it as a regular ipad with no issues. The only downside is you can't open the table stand. otherwise it's pretty sweet. Loving my combo touch, it's almost completely replaced my macbook pro lol

I purchased the Combo a month ago and I love it after being unsure for a few days. Two wishes: if only the detachable keyboard could be used when detached. That would make it the perfect bluetooth keyboard. And I wish Logitech would make a miniature version for the iPad mini. Then I'd be very happy indeed

it isnt a bluetooth keyboard thats why it cannot be used detached, it uses the smart connector, and therefore can only work when Connected.

Bought the folio touch late 2020, and after almost 3 years of constant use (student), what I would assume is the ribbon cable inside of the case that keeps the keyboard attached to the case has degraded so much from the constant folding that it no longer turns on. Now, it only 'connects' if completely flat or when putting the iPad case in a specific position where the keyboard makes a connection and works. I can confirm it is not the pins in the back, since those are still clean/working with other accessories that use them. There is no repair guide, and if you are past your 1-year limited warranty, Logitech will just tell you to buy a new one (suggesting the more expensive combo touch since that version fixes the issue all folio touch cases will eventually encounter. Im tempted to buy the combo touch now, since i frequently use the keyboard shortcuts which are missing on apples version (plus combo touch offers more protection too).

Folio touch for students for sure because of how is it’s for moving and you can’t forget the keyboard and your pencil is safe also. Great video

Its a shame they couldnt provide like a removable magnetic flap that could be attached to the combo touch to hold the pencil when you have the keyboard attached, that would make the combo the perfect case if you ask me

If you frequently use the iPad’s back camera, that would be a good reason to choose the combo touch instead of the folio

Both are great, but I prefer the combo because I don’t like to feel the keys pressing against my fingers when I’m using it as a regular iPad

Has anyone tried the combo touch on a 3rd gen ipad pro 12.9? Amazon says it's only for 5th gen 12.9, i saw some reviews saying yes and some saying no.

Poor logitech combo touch on my ipad pro newest gen ! Ive been using this keyboard only for a few weeks and it lack for some its features such as 2 swipe and some loading keyboard function it need to replug to its magnetic before it gets normal but after some minutes it happen again, considering the brand & the PRICE i wish they update their firmware ASAP! I wish the dev see my comments

Looks like a slightly different arrow key arrangement. Any other minor keyboard differences?

slightly improoved switch design and the same click anywhere design adopted on the Apple Macig keyboard unlike the diveboard design used on the Folio, that's just about the only subtle changes I can think about.
