Cool thing about the configurations is that the RGB and the macros and button mapping it's stored in the mouse itself, so even if you plug it in a different computer or you didn't install the software in your new one, it still works as you set it last time.

@@rainbowsandunicorns5762 you will need to enable the on board memory in the setting of the device then, you will need to replace the profile in the on board memory with the one you want to and then about 5 seconds you will have your wanted profile in the onboard memory

Been using it for 5 years now. It's rly good! Never disappointed Has 3 profiles. Can set up different RGB and DPI options for each profile. Disabling certain buttons or not. It's pretty nice Overall, the shape of it is great. A lot healthier for your arm/wrist bcuz if the shape. At an angle If you want something even better and newer, get the G502 SE Hero

@@shooternerd If not the G502 hero a lightweight mouse is always a safe option but if you prefer heavier ergo mice the basilisk is also the same shape as the G502, I personally switch to the model o and alternate between the two but depending on your price range the best lightweight mouse is got to be the G Pro X Superlight. It really depends on your style of holding the mouse, fingertip, claw, aggressive claw and palm.

I got one a couple weeks ago, it's a phenomenal mouse. It takes some getting used to because of how small the left click and right click keys are but once adjusted to it you can start to get adjusted to the macro buttons which are all perfectly placed. All I play is destiny 2 and I've used razers viper and the glorious model o and hands down the g502 hero is my absolute favorite and will be until the g503 comes out 😂

as some who’s used the g502 hero for 4.5 yrs, the mouse is great, but the only problem is, the double clicking issue that finally arose which is a common issue for a lot of logi mice. basically, the gun will randomly stop full spraying in games and there’s ways to fix it but it requires taking apart your mouse and replacing switches

I found this mouse to be faulty after months of use, and the issues are that the hold drag on left click stutters and there is a double click when u click once sometimes. But just the though of the gift should be enough.

It still holds up in my opinion, it still has a futuristic design, 11 buttons and 16k dpi. There's no reason for it to not hold up. In my opinion it's the best mouse for general gaming that you can buy in 2021. Attention i said GENERAL gaming so it may not be that good for SPECIFIC games but in general it's the best gaming mouse ESPECIALLY at such a low price.

I’ve had mine since 2016, never switched and I have the same one that I originally bought, through many rage slams and other physical strikes along with when I lift and recenter my mouse I tend to do it hard and a little aggressive, but the only thing that has happened to my g502 proteus spectrum in 5 years is a small quiet little rattle that you can barely hear with headphones off and don’t even come close to the noise from my mx blue switches 🤣 the sensor is still perfect and all the buttons still feel great the Lmb and Rmb have a little bit of stickiness and kind of lifts with my finger on release but it isn’t a problem since the lmb and rmb attached to the top shell I completely agree that this mouse was overbuilt and engineered

If you have issues with buttons stuttering while being held, like dragging files and them being released to early, you can try tapping problematic button firmly alongside the entire button from tip to the base of the button. I taped it 4 times, from tip to base, problem appears to be gone.

Still using my G502 Proteus core that Ive owned since 2014. The blue LED's are mostly green than blue and the rubber has worn down a bit on the sides to where its just the plastic but this thing is a beast. I ordered the wireless version yesterday and am excited to upgrade to the wireless RGB version. The logitech G pro was too much of a claw style grip which I just got and returned it for this G502 hero instead. Palm grip is so good and this mouse has been a tank!

I’ve owned around 3 of these g502s. I bought the original proteus core back in 2014 or 2015 and got the updated spectrum model when it came out in 2016 I believe. I then got the wireless version of it recently. I loved every single one

@@jimskeuh None of the ones that I've ever owned has exhibited double clicking. I still have all of them in fact. Only mice I've ever had double click were from razer. My oldest g502 is still in perfect working condition with obvious wear and tear from the years of abuse. And in terms of how many hours I gamed, that would be like 60-80 hours per week, because I was in high school at the time. I would still use the original one i had from like 6 -7 years ago, if it were not for the fact that wireless mice are so much better.

I use it now but, soon I need to switch. It's some issue with it, at least with mine. When I push and hold something (like in CSGO a granade, or in photoshop drawing or dragging files), at some point it choose to drop or click an extra time. So in CSGO the granade throw release when I don't wish to, and when I spray with gun it quite pauses. And dragging files it drops it early. Sometimes it works perfect for days but then some days suddenly it messes around just like now today. Never had issue with my past mouses! Other than that, I love it. I used this G502 hero for soon 1 year, already half year in I began getting issues with it time to time.

@Xiliphy Yt 6-7 years. Not single thing wrong or anything I would change about it for a daily mouse. If you have specific needs... you may want something with more shortkeys/side buttons on it but I find the g502 perfect for everything from work docs to gaming. I even travel with mine. It’s a rugged mouse if it can handle everything I’ve thrown it’s way.

honestly, after moving to a new mouse(Viper Mini) after 3yrs of use, just don't use it for competitive fps games. the difference is night and day with a lighter mouse. don't get me wrong the g502 is a great mouse for gaming, and has absolutely great sensor, but stop being stubborn like me for so long and get a good lighter mouse if you're into online fps games and br in general. It's like free increase in skill, you wouldn't know it unless you try. I still use g502 for everything else, and I still love it

The Wireless version costs a fortune. I've had their wired mice give me connection issues within a year. Also has a double-click issue with the left button according to Amazon reviews. My G604 gets both the left and right buttons stuck pressed down all the time. I am avoiding everything "modern" from Logitech. I haven't been happy with Logitech since they changed the G700 to the G700S which didn't even feel the same.

The Logitech G502 doesnt last long, mine started double clicking etc after 1 and a half year already. Friends did even worse with only 1-6 months after having trouble. I'm making the switch the optical switches instead of mechanical ones

Depending in your budget, I would highly recommend the royal kludge rk71. I got mine recently after receiving a faulty redragon k552. I got the red switches and it’s perfect for me, the only issue is a slightly louder sounding rattle switch on the space key, but overall it’s an incredible keyboard.

@@twilight_lk3112 Idk exactly what the prices are in America, but as I said before, my rk71 is amazing 🤩 It’s got incredible rgb lighting with heaps of different modes and several colours and colour schemes, it’s wireless, with almost no latency whatsoever from my experience. Would highly recommend if it fits your requirements and budget. It’s got 71 keys so it’s small and compact yet has arrow keys and some other useful ones as well ( the home key, insert etc.) Overall perfect keyboard, would 100% recommend.

Is this more comfortable than the g903? For me the g903 has started to feel uncomfortable
