@Raiyan I bought my G502 SE (wired model) almost 2 years ago and haven't had any issues so far! I don't play competitive shooters but I use it every day. My only problem has been the software. I didn't want G HUB always running in the background so I use Logitech Onboard Memory Manager, and I ran into a bug where media controls don't work. This problem doesn't occur when using G HUB. There's also a new G502 X series (Frank did a video on the X Plus wireless model). They have new hybrid optical-mechanical switches that shouldn't break down like the old switches. However, they're not that different otherwise, and the new G502 X (wired model) costs about double what I paid for my G502 SE on sale! Also check out the Glorious Model I and Roccat Kone XP series as they are similar competitors. There's plenty to choose from now, but if you find the old G502 for a good price, I'd say go for it!

The only (big) problem keeping the G502 from sheer perfection is its heavy braided cable which fights your hand for control of it, literally putting on the breaks on lateral movement. If you manage to suspend the cable in a good center position in a way it doesn't affect you, it will work like an extension of you brain on games. It's super-accurate and fast.

I recently bought this mouse about a week ago since it was like 30 dollars at the time of writing. I’ve had a steel series mouse for a while that was really light so going to this was weird but in a good way. It didn’t feel like I was whipping shots because I of how light my mouse was, it was easy to make little adjustments while still being able to move my mouse around. I also packed mine all the way with all the weights, feels super satisfying when I’m using it. As for the buttons, I could probably live without but that’s because I haven’t figured out how to really use them effectively. Though there are some games where they require the r4-5 mouse buttons so that came in handy. The scroll wheel is probably my favorite part of the entire thing. Now I don’t use frictionless mode for gaming as I just switch weapons constantly because of how sensitive it is but for scrolling through discord, Reddit, google docs, etc. it is amazing. The regular mode also feels really good, love how it feels when you scroll with a sort of thunk feel to it. I also really dig the sensitivity button where I can easily change my dpi. It felt good not having to go through setting for games with just the press of a button. I also have medium size hands so they fit perfectly on the mice with a little claw grip. Overall, a 10/10 experience so far

“The mouse market is pretty dull right now” when there’s FINALLY actual innovation (aside from holes) happening for the first time in YEARS: Makalu 67 first mouse with the PAW3370, Viper 8KHz, Ducky releasing the Feather with a choice of Huano 50M, Kailh 8.0, or the new Omron 60M switches, Razer ditching optical switches for Razer branded Kailh 4.0s (in the new Basilisk X HyperSpeed and Orochi V2 at least), Xtrfy is already a trendsetter by releasing their mice in multiple distinct colorways (not just a choice between 2-3 solid colors) but now they’re really stepping their game up by releasing the M42 with interchangeable shell parts and also partnering with RJN to finally do a collab that’s not just a name stamped on the mouse, but an actual new shape unlike anything else on the market in Zy’s Rail. Of course there’s also Final Meme with whatever they’re doing, a metal mouse or something... But what I’m saying is that any one of the mice I listed above will set new precedents and change the course of the entire industry. When was the last time we got a new flagship Pixart sensor, when was the last time we bumped up the polling rate on mice - let alone octupled it, when was the last time a single mouse model offered 3 choices in switches from the factory, what MAINSTREAM mice (not counting Pwnage since it’s a startup but they do deserve credit for innovation) offer a user-selectable SHAPE, and when was the last collab that brought a completely fresh mouse shape to the market? These are all once in a DECADE occurrences and they’re all happening right now, in 2021. So yeah, big Frank, the mouse market is anything but dull. If anything, you could make a video about how exciting it is right now. Make sure to thank me for the idea though.

Get on it, great mouse!!

I just replaced my trusty old G602 that ended up with a bad switch with the G502 Lightspeed. I had a temporary mouse I had bought as a backup and found that the size really made a difference, and honestly, I don't know how I'd do with an even lighter mouse (weight not being a huge factor in my decision making). The scroll wheel in normal mode is pretty stiff and I'll have to get used to infinite scroll, but otherwise, it's darned comfortable in my hands, and the battery's lasting a long time so far.

Just get a G604 if you want a cheap G502 Lightspeed, it's so similar and I got mine on sale for $45. Also doubles as a great work/productivity mouse with all the MMO macro buttons.

I use 3x G502s (light speed) for my set up running three PCs simultaneously. Have 4 others (including mx and others) but this feels the best and most smooth! Love it.

Great video, just tells ya it's not the gear you use that makes you good, it's how you use it. My cousin has the OG model and I remember using it for a bit and it was super comfy and performed great. BTW, mad respect for your new tattoo ❤ I've seen it on your IG stories and couldn't comment so here it is

I LOVED the G502. Owned 3 of them. Switched to Razer Basalisk Ultimate last year which is really close to 502. It's great.

I have tested lot of mice for gaming, but this G502 mouse is the best of the best gaming mice that I ever have. Love Hyperscroll wheel, sniper button and how long it will can be charged.. in my case with 40% set RGB lightning I can last up to 21 days to fully discharge. Only I want to see a USB-C connector, this G502 is TOP end mice.

I still have the G502 Hero. My 502 Proteus middle click broke after six months. I contacted Logitech and they replaced it with a hero for free. I just replaced it with a Shroud and it’s awesome as well.

Still love my 502. Don’t know if I’ll switch off of it any time soon.

not to mention that it will perform far better in productivity work with all those macro bottoms and tilt scroll wheel - if you needed one mouse to do all the work and game on, this is a far better option than the 50 grams mouse that function like just a mouse in everything else except game

My sister knew I was getting a new PC and bought me the G502 wired mouse for $40. I absolutely love it and I was looking to spend $150 on a mouse, but after using the G502, I’m sticking with it.

I still main the G502 even after buying the MM710 and using it for 2 weeks. Lightweight mice arent as bad as I thought it would be. If logitech made a lightweight G502 id buy it.

G502 has been my favorite mouse in all iterations of it. I have them all. I love my lightspeed one now with the lightspeed pad. It just needs to be lighter. I won't use any other mouse, but I await the day they make it lighter.

@@jimskeuh I’ve had the lightspeed version as my main mouse since May 2019 when it was released and the Lightspeed pad since October 2019. They both still work perfectly.

I'm a bodybuilder and I absolutely love heavy mouse. Had the wired version for quite sometime but I switched to wireless G502 and bought a powerplay mat for consistent charging.😁

I played MMOs for years on mice like the G600, Razer Naga, ect. But started playing more FPS a few years ago and tried out a bunch of lightweight mice like the Viper, Mira M, MM711, XM1, Viper Mini, G305, Deathadder Mini, trying to find that perfect mouse. But no matter how many months I would put into using a mouse, I never really felt I was living up to my potential. In comes the Razer Naga Pro late last year, I immediately got that because it's what I always wanted in an MMO mouse. Even though I was use to light weight mice by this time and the Naga Pro comes in at 117g. But as soon as I started using it, I could feel myself actually playing better. I started getting way more wins, shots were way more accurate and I even got quite a few #1 highscores on 3daimtrainer. Goes against what everyone else says, because it's a wide heavy mouse that even has a ring finger rest. But I play by far the best with it, the extra weight + width gives me by far the most control of any other mouse I've tried.

The lightspeed with the powerpad has been my setup for years and to this day I will swear by it as the ultimate casual setup. A superb mouse that is always being powered by the pad and has amazing battery life and charge time should the pad malfunction for some weird reason or you have to take it on the go.
