Just finished replacing my battery. Glad for the tutorial also I noticed adding a little heat to the pads once their back on helps with adhesion.

I woulda replaced those mouse skids, cleaned the mouse wheel assembly, and done a cleaned out that G9 button. And I would have used compressed air to clean out the insides.

My mouse wouldn't recharge at all anymore, I just followed the instructions to open the mouse, then pushed a bit where the battery is connected to the motherboard and the mouse worked again after that. So there might not always be a need to replace the battery. Now my mouse pads are all screwed up though, I'll have to replace them

Did the same thing except mine was seated properly, removed the cable, reseated it and now it works like a charm!

mine broke after 3 years of intensive but carefull use, every 6 seconds it got movement loss, its like it get slightly stuck every 6seconds, but its not usable or enjoyable for gaming, its too annoying

I think they should be building the mouse with a removable battery. Planned obsolescence at its finest.

Not that it matters but the battery needed to be flipped over sideways 180 degrees, so the cable is on the left not the right.
