Swapping weapons in FPS games, using items in MOBAs, spells in MMOs, various things for desktop use (I have controls for video, refreshing the page, scrolling through tabs, opening and closing tabs, etc.) So many ways to use this mouse! Highly recommended!

I really hope that Logitech comes up with a true successor to the G600. It's been hard to find for a while now outside Logitech's own store. I'd hate to go back to a mouse that does not have the third genuine mouse button for the ring finger. Three button mice were not too uncommon back in the 90's, but scant few brands have tried it in recent years. I hope that Logitech doesn't give it up now that the G600 has sold well over several years. To those who may wonder you'll see a lot of older (2014-2015) G600 reviews out there mentioning various sensor issues. That was with the earlier revision of the mouse that had firmware problems.

While it is advertised as an MMO gaming mouse, I use it for all other types of software (word, excel, sony vegas, photoshop, etc). I use it for everything, and I cannot see myself using any other mouse. I do agree, that this is the best one on the market that anyone could purchase. If you spend a lot of time on the computer, this is an essential purchase in my opinion.

After 1 month of use, I would like this mouse A LOT more if... 1) it had 8 buttons on the side (instead of 12) which would make it less tall. Two rows of 4 instead of three. 2) side-buttons were more forward (1/2") to be better placed under thumb 3) it didn't DRAG so much on the desktop. Makes precise mouse movement twitchy. **Probably drags too much cuz its a bit too heavy.

I even have a profile set up for HTML development so I can add common tags with a click of a button.

Yeah the ability to have text strings seems like it could be super useful in certain programs. Coding seems clutch. Same thing with writing as you can have some functions mapped to the buttons like copy/paste and formatting shortcuts. Small time saves individually but a huge amount over time.

Loving it since I got it a few days ago. Re-learning to play FFXIV with new keybinds can be daunting, but it really helps in making the game a bit more immersive as the screen has tidier HUDS, tighter 3x4 skill blocks which correspond to the side buttons, and it makes it easier to play as the left hand doesn't leave the WASD area and no need to look at the keyboard for cooldowns. Overall, it needs a bit of time to get used to especially the ring finger click but it liberates me from doing the mouse point-and-click which could sometimes spell disaster during panic modes. Ahaha

you actually don't get 24 extra buttons, you get 38 total buttons if you use gshift and 20 buttons if you don't use gshift, either way its amazing. For those wondering you can assign gshift to whatever key that you want, with g.shift you can even reassign new functions to the left and right click. The only thing you cannot customize is mouse scroll up and down (you can customize that maybe ingame depending on the game or app but you cannot customize it from the logitech software) I have the g502 hero, and it has a total of 11 buttons, with gshift it's 20 buttons that you can use. The only downside is the current software has many bugs, if you need more info on those bugs let me know, I'm currently emailing back and forth with the logitech dev team to get those fixed
@wizzarin4244 жыл бұрын
Well I have used this mouse for 7 days now. The biggest obstacle I find is having to change the way I hold the mouse. I'm use to using my thumb and ring finger. The ring figure being on the third button is not the problem, it trying to NOT use your thumb to hold, I find I keep pushing buttons I didn't want to push. To Fix this until I get use to it, I just shut down the bottom row of buttons, this gives me a place for my thumb (until I figure a better way to hold the mouse), I still end up with more buttons than I need with the still active 8 buttons OR 16 if I use the Gshift with the third button. I think this will be a great mouse once I get use to it. I'm still trying to learn HOW to add the mouse to the game, like this video it really didn't cover that topic very well. I would love to see a video that goes into more detail on "tweaking" the mouse for a game, from start to finish: creating a profile, getting the mouse to work when the game is started, and so on. This was a very good over view video. Thanks

I agree on Logitech just being reliable and quality compared to other brands. I've been happy with Steelseries mice as well though but their reliability and software just don't compare. Nice mice though. As a pretty avid MMO fan it really annoys me that Logitech jumped on the "form over function" train recently though. The keyboards are getting more and more expensive and have fewer and fewer functions. What happened to keyboards like G15, G19 etc. with plenty of programmable keys, media keys, even LCD displays (that I cared less about)? Why the hell do people today want *fewer* options for higher prices? Obviously not every mouse or keyboard needs to be for MMOs but not every keyboard needs to be stripped of all functions either. I'd love to see Logitech make an updated/refined G600 and G15/G19 keyboard so they'd have more different products that'd appeal to people who actually care about function over form, where everything isn't about tempered glass, RGB and minimalist designs. :/

@yolobeer9904 жыл бұрын
This is sadly a standard issue for every mouse that uses the Omron microswitches. You can fix it with a soldering iron or by opening the microswitches and bending the tiny spring back in shape. (id recommend the soldering option since these switches are absolutely tiny and take longer to put back together than the soldering job does) If you use the "D2FC-F-K(50M)" then you get 5x the lifetime of the original 10m switches used by the G600. Oh and you will need new sliding pads since the screws are underneath them. But yeah, a new version of the g600, with the newer switches inside would be nice.

Personal experiens using finger grip because the mouse won't fit my hand, the pinkie hits the taple or the mouse bat when I do that :\ so I had to use only my fingers. From that I can say that it is not a big deal, you will get used to the weight of it quite faste, I bet most people can get used to the mouse as whole in month or less. To me it took just a day to get used to but after month or so it didn't hurt my pinkie anymore, as you must move the mouse with pinkie at start it may get a little hurt from the sudden tress :D if you game fps games 12 horus a day, yeah you will feel it in your pinkie next day, not a bad thing in my opinion. Literally biggest issue is lifting the mouse >:) as you use only your pinkie and meybe thumb :D edit: Pinkie has eaten hole in the rubber or what ever that is :( as I have to hold mostly with my fingertips (not issue for me) and reason is simply that my pinkie is in the same spot :D and this hole happend after 3 years so . . .

I personally don't like a mouse with so many buttons I often find having to reach for the back row with my thumb a bit awkward and a bit confusing. But this might because I have huge hands with big sausage fingers. I like a max of 2 buttons on the side of mouse. Mostly for those games that require the full use of your numbers row. It's a pain since I can only comfortably reach numbers 1-5, which leaves 6-0 unused since I don't like to leave the wasd position. I map those to buttons to the side mouse with a combination of shift and alt key. I also don't really understand the point of being able to change the mouse dpi on the fly. I just change the mouse sensitivity game and be done with it. I agree about it feeling nicer when the mouse is heavy in the hand, and about the rubberized coating. My current mouse is over 5-6 years old and its showing its age with the rubber coating have worn away though the years. Not so much for back lit keys. I don't look at my mouse as I'm using it so I just turn them off or rip out the leds. Neither am I for the use a program to adjust mouse setting. I hate having to install a separate program just to use basic mouse functionality. It annoys me to no end to have something I don't need in my task bar. Some are just intrusive with popups and special offers when you open it up to remap something. Also I personally don't like cords on my mouse. Keyboard is fine but mouse has to be wireless for me. Some people swear they can see that near unnoticeable lag but I see it so it doesn't bother me.

I've had a razer naga chroma for 2 years no issues all buttons still work you should stop throwing your mouse at the wall or something but I do have a Logitech G600 and i prefer it because of the sidebuttons etc so I still think G600>Naga chroma atleast for me in terms of comfort but Naga is by no means bad and still comfortable or doesn't break from my experience you probably got a bad copy lol
