I’ve had an older one for use and it keeps a charge for a very very very long time. I haven’t used it every time I open up my tablet but it sits in my backpack for over a year and works like it had just been charged. It very thin and lightweight like it’s like a thin notebook. Mine doesn’t have the cover with it but would be very valuable to protect the surface of the keyboard. It’s been the best accessory that I’ve ever had for it. I haven’t used it so but probably works with a smartphone. My deceives are all Apples and haven’t had a problem with that.

Two possible innovations I’d wish to see in version 3: .1 Keep everything the same and have an separate compartment for an additional CR2032 button battery used exclusively to power backlit keys. . 2 Design the same keyboard to be foldable into half it’s current length for even easier stow and carry. (I use this with my iPad mini now and I absolutely LOVE it, but it’s longer than my iPad mini and kinda awkward carrying them around together.)

I am still using my old Microsoft Foldable Portable Keyboard. When folded in half, it´s a bit bigger than a passport in size.

If an e-ink phone manufacturer could make a phone that fits exactly into the open lid and create a writing app to go with the phone it would be fantastic for writers.

That long battery life is pretty impressive but I'm a huge fan of my keyboard case for the iPad.

I like it because it's the same length as the iPad Pro 11inch. It compliments each other. It's a good keys 2 go keyboard

Or you could also learn to touch type. It's not that difficult of a skill, but is very handy.

I personally prefer (and am using) the Logitech K380. It uses AAA batteries so they are easily replaceable. It also connects to 3 devices. Battery is long enough that I forget when I actually charged it last time. Now that I searched it up, it's supposed to last 2 years. And that may be true since I don't actually remember when I put in the batteries.

the battery life is almost correct. mine lasted for around 1.5 year with almost every day of usage connected to 3 device. with mine using a cheap local brand AAA battery.

@@linxgear I don't think those minor improvements are worth 2x the price tag. Considering I already have that m(k380 and k380s) I wouldn't upgrade. Though I could see how someone could want such a thin device but I feel there should be some feature difference to warrant doubling the price maybe a fingerprint reader or something.

Or, you can pick up a Royal Kludge F68... not really much wider, folds in half, has a backlight... and solid mechanical keys and an aluminum top plate for like... $10-15 less.
