Just got it Alexander, but may have to take it back because I don't like the slick plastic shiny top part....not like my old M310 and M325 that had that grittier gray material, at least on the top part...I'd like that feel on the bottom of the palm as well...I really like this mouse otherwise because it's a good size and weight for me...in between the M325 and M310, quieter clicking too.....and I like the speed of the scroll wheel, less hectic than the 325 but not old-style like 310...the wheel does feel a little loose and flimsy but I could deal with that Do you think there is some kind of fluid I could rub into the surface of the mouse to kind of gritty it up without damaging it or impairing it's function?

hi betpow! yeah I guess the top plastic is kind of shiny and really glossy. didn't bother me that much, but I can see how one might prefer a more grippy matt surface. not sure if there's anything you can do to make it last slick without spoiling the surface of the mouse. (sanding it with some sandpaper would definitely render it non-returnable) let us know if you do manage to figure a way to get it more grippy, or what mouse you decide to replace it with if you find the new one better!

TechLifePro it's okay, I already took it back...will keep using my M325 until I decide on something else

TechLifePro Hey Alexander...still using my M325 and will keep it as back-up/travel (because it's smaller) but I'm going to go with the Marathon M705 next I believe... even though I think the button under scroll wheel is a little big and clunky and a little annoying while scrolling (I played with it at Best Buy) don't really want to go to the touch...have since tried the trackball and just don't like that...will let you know have also tried Microsoft since (4000?)....didn't realize it was a very slow old scroll wheel...but I'll tell you one thing I liked about Microsoft compared to Logitech, much quieter with the clicking, I liked that

betpow the M705 is an excellent mouse! I've used it for quite a while. too bad it was before I started techlifepro so I couldn't film an unboxing for it, and neither do I want to do a review on my now beat up mouse!

i just bought this mouse about 1 week ago... It worked fine for about 5mins then the arrow on my laptop started dancing around and would not respond to whatever i did. I tried updating it and replacing the batteries but nothing has worked. I do have windows 8 but i dont see why that would affect my mouse. Do you have any tips for me? Im going to return it soon, im just trying to see if i can get it up and running before hand.
