Hi Juan, nice video mate! I had one question about the device switching that I can't seem to get answered anywhere. I basically have two machines on my workstation. And I want to be able to use the same keyboard + mouse combo for both of them. My question is if I switch the keyboard, then will the mouse also switch automatically or will I have to do it for both of them independently? Thanks again!

Hey! Thanks for the video! I have a question. What action does Fn+left/right arrow do? Fn+up/down explicitly say they work as Page Up/Down. I expect Fn+left/right behave like Home/End buttons, but I can't find confirmation anywhere. I got used to this behavior and this is critical factor for me since I work with code a lot. Thanks!

Hello mate, sorry but it does not have that function for the left/right keys, only works with the up and right... But keep in mind that you have them in the numerical pad

Thanks for answer! Yeah I know that there are Home/End on the numpad, but having them on arrow keys is very important for me. It speeds up my work significantly. As I've mentioned I need to work with code a lot and having ability to jump to start/end of line without moving the hand from arrows is the killer feature for me.

I am not limited by the budget, price being no concern, I have used both keyboards and mices at work to choose which one I would rather own privately. I begun with a bias towards the MX Keys, just because I was really hyped for that model. But I decided that dell is just a better keyboard for typing. The better thing about MX Keys are 3 dedicated, explicitly separate buttons for switching devices - love it! Dell keyboard has one button that loops through devices, it's slower. But then, the Dell keyboard has much easier typing with its layout, especially the size/shape/location of the return key on Mx Keys is really not good, as well as the left shift on Mx Keys is too short and squizes a custom 4-function key which does not work ootb on Linux. Lookwise, the Dell is more clean/elegant, and professional look, and footprint is actually smaller than MX Keys. Typing speed and accuracy is much improved on Dell versus Logitech for working in Linux terminal, text and code editors. I really wanted to choose MX Keys, but Dell is just better - and it just so happens that it's also half the price. Then the mouse - the MX Mater S2 or S3 are really nice, and can even work on Linux with custom buttons. But the Dell mouse is really good too, and the profile has similar ergonomic grip for the thumb, just not so prominent. Logitech mouse wins on the looks, the feel, but Dell is excellent, and the switching of devices is much better: you can explicitly see which device is active with a LED indicator on Dell mouse, and cannot see it on Logitech. Also, on Ligitech you need to turn the mouse upside-down to switch, and on Dell you do not have to. Very interresting: Logitech made device switching extremely fast on the keyboard (separate full-sized buttons), but totally compromised it on the mouse. Dell's implementation of this functionality is excellent on both the mouse, and the keyboard. I would love to see a feauture where mouse and keyboard from the same (or different!) vendor pair with eachother, and the device switch on any one of them causes both of them to switch to the next device. This would potentially be a new killer application for people, who like me, work on multiple desktops plus some other devices like raspberry pi. Off course this can be all solved with something like Synergy from Symless, but for this functionality in hardware, there's room to go further, and make life even easier.

so crazy, turns out that MX Keys comes in 2 distinct layout: one in which there's the big, tall enter key - which is terrible for writing/programming, and the other in which the enter key is short and long (horizontal), which actually I would expect to be great for typing. I noticed that in Poland I can only find the tall enter key version, and in Taiwan, both versions.
