Would have been a great chance to show the DB9 connector (RS232 port) right speaker pin out wires so that we can hack the subwoofer to work alone.

There is no sound coming from the left speaker. I think the jack input is broken or the yellow input part it is connected to is broken. How can I fix this? Can you help me?

Ive had these for 10+ years and the cables that go into the subwoofer have always had some connectivity problem where ive had to carefully adjust them to get the sound back to normal. But i i decided to buy the z623 speakers and they almost feel like a downgrade and it is weird how it feels like sound is primarily coming from the left speaker. Thinking of maybe getting the z523 speakers fixed and sending my z623 back.

maybe there is some sound source problem, because z623 cant be downgrade.

@@Techscrews idk man, the bass was nonexistent even with the knob turned to 50% and when the bass was present, it was so extreme that it felt like it slapped me in the face. And the satellite speakers just sounded like tin cans which made me wanna turn up the bass past 50% but yeah that means that loud clips or sounds are super *extreme* There is no middle ground with them at all :/

Anyone know if the passive bass radiator from front is same size as Logitech Z3 ?

Greatly looking instruction how to get to Logitechs inners! My Z523 just doesnt want to switch on anymore so I want to fix them by myself =( Seems that volume regulator cant switch between on/off states anymore, and doesnt produce crach sound, so if I could get to that detail I may see where is the issue. Thanx anyway!

Can I use this sub with another pair of speakers. I mean, can I set volume and bass level and then unplug speakers cables. Will it keep the same level without original speakers?

no, you need disconnect sattelite speaker drivers, just cut one wire each driver inside box, then just connect subwoofer to any another system like in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nJuolIyddriHf9U
