Hello, I don't own such a model, but as far as I know, the z906 has a much nicer sound than the z5500, the bass is clearer and deeper on the z906 than on the z5500, and the amplification part is much more modern! But my systems are completely modified and the sound is much clearer more detailed and the bass is very strong!

@@SangalDigital I replaced 2 speakers out of the 10 that I have, with some with built-in tweeter. The sound is totally different. I will order 2 more speakers with twweter, or maybe 4 more. I'm really happy with the Z5500, but as I said, my systems are completely changed!

Hi, I need more details. Did you move that switch to 5.1? Have you connected all 3 jacks to the ports on the back of the POD Control? Where are you getting the signal from? From PC? on PC do you use Soft for 5.1? Do you play 5.1 movies that are capable of transmitting signals on the PC outputs? (on the Green Pink Black plugs) Are you using the optical input? You can try to connect the black jack in the middle to the POD Control behind it, and play from your phone or other signal source and see if only the rear speakers work.

Hello, if the POD Control sits on the subwoofer or near it, the vibrations produced by the subwoofer can move the volume adjustment potentiometer very very slightly! Try moving the POD Control away from the subwoofer! And if you want to solve this problem, you will have to replace the volume potentiometer!

I paid 90 euros for the first system, and 50 euros for the second! Both complete and functional! The 50 euro one had small defects in the speakers! But they worked perfectly!

POD Control with headphone button is the version after 2009 - 2010. I also have a POD with a headphone button! When I connect it to the subwoofer, the display is always on, but no light! I can change anything from the buttons or from the remote control. If I connect the headphones to the jack, I get sound! Is it the same for you?

When you use the digital input, and the signal is 5.1 or dolby atmos or DTS, POD Control will directly display these modes and then you will know that it works 5.1! If you use the 3.5 jack (all 3 jacks must be used to have 5.1 sound) or you can select the dolby atmos mode from POD Control and it will virtualize the stereo signal into a 5.1 signal!

Hi, I really enjoy your videos about the Z5500. Mine got a problem after years of use it only says: "Mute On - Over Temperature" even when it was powered off for several hours and its completly cold. Do u have any idea what could cause this problem or how I can fix it?

There were 2 more people with this problem. no one answered whether or not he solved the problem. However, it is not a real temperature problem. As far as I know, the problem is at the control pod. I don't know exactly if the cable is a problem or something electronic. Have you tried resetting the control bridge? (How to reset: While the system is turned off, press input and settings on the control bridge until the firmware is displayed on the screen.) I also found this for temperature errors, but I haven't tested it and I don't know if it works. (pins 6 and 12 (vga connector) best way to fix it: disassemble the POD control and find thin black and orange wires that don't come from the shielded center wire, then short it)

No es una prueba de sonido. Si ves el video. También escribí en él que apagaré el sonido en la base porque es un silbato (prueba HZ). El video es para el ajuste correcto del volumen de los altavoces.
