Wow, super cool! Fantastic cover. Fun fact I just found while researching this track: the guitarist/keyboardit for this song is currently a fill-in member for Meshuggah. Also, this kinda reminded me of some stuff by Panzerballett, but with more brass and less metal. If you haven't heard them, I highly recommend you check out their first, self-titled album, though it can be hard to find.

Hi Laurence, thank you so much - I’m glad you liked it! I assume you mean my phrasing around the 9/8 bar? I recorded this a while back, but I believe I was referencing a rough chart gifted to me by Darby Todd - I interpreted that bit as groups of 5 and 6 sixteenth notes, almost 'ignoring' the time signature. It would be great to see the original score to compare 😊
