Just in case someone is wondering why they don't see any overlap, in the Fill and Stroke menu -> Stroke Style, make sure the "Cap" property is set to rounded.

You have really nice videos! Can you put videos WITH all errors and bugs what comes new Inkscape? Its hard otherwise to understand that is you/person who is learning from your videos or the Software has problems. I am writting this because I am experiensing a lot bugs in new Inkscape version. Its hard to follow your videos.

How do i put multiple clipart images in a box and put one graphic over the next to where it cuts out some of the image so they all look like they continue onto each other? A video of that would be nice.

Hmm, the part at 2:50 when you are using LPA and snapping the nodes to the center, for some reason its not curving the entire shape, it just makes these awkward little curves at the corners only. I also have a white circle node on both sides of every corner, on yours you have 1. Any help with this?
