Sound Wave Particles in Adobe Illustrator

for some reason when it comes to resizing the particles, when i select the sizer tool it doesnt select my particles, and keeps askigng me to choose a graphic style

It sounds like you don't have the particles selected in the first place, make sure they are all selected before following the size steps.
