Lohen modified Mini JCW Clubman - How much power can I get ?

I take my friends already modified JCW clubman to Lohen for a stage 2 performance pack and a Cobra sports cat to make this Mini even quicker and louder, how much power can Lohen get from the Mini JCW Clubman
Details of performance pack
Within this kit, we include a set of NGK performance spark plugs found in the JCW, High flow performance ITG filter that will help increase airflow, a Forge Motorsport performance intercooler to help keep your 2-litre turbo engine MINI at safe working temperatures and finally a 200 Cell Cobra Sport Sports Cat downpipe to help improve airflow from the turbo. The hardware modifications are then brought together with a Stage 2 ECU remap for your Cooper S or JCW.

glad you enjoyed the video (driving impressions video next week) Mid mode gives some pops and bangs and green turns it off completly. Driving down my local high street (middle of the day and lots of people around) in Mid and thought it was turned off and a single crack came out like a gun shot

The Remus catback is loud on cold start as you could hear 😂. My neighbours don’t mind as it’s my friends car.

I am not sure where you are from in the UK (i am assuming yorkshire) but i am based in the south east near brighton and the tuning company was down this way. I know Lohen will be a little more expensive but the difference in the map was night and day and if i was getting my car done i would choose Lohen

yes i wanted something different from the average ended up watching a few of petrol ped videos aswel as urs & decided to go for the new jcw clubman in rebel green. So im booked in to get the remus exhaust which im in two minds about because the factory sounds decent im jus wondering how the remus is going to sound 😁 and just wondered if it was worth it at some point to get the lohen stage 2 upgrade. Or just to stage one it and be happy. I was looking at an induction kit for it but not sure what to go with. The evolve one ped has is wayyy to expensive. I called evolve for a quote lets jus say its ££££s. So thinking about a k&n with heat shield but not sure. But yes im enjoying the content keep up the good work!

The performance pack 2 comes with a large intercooler, performance plugs, panel filter , cobra sports cat and the map. This car already has the Remus but I would go for the performance pack 2 on its own if you cannot afford both (it’s not exactly cheap)

in your opinion which one runs more: mini cooper jcw stage 2 or mini cooper clubman jcw stage 2? I ask because of the power to weight ratio of the 2 cars. I am in doubt which of the 2 to buy. I wanted the faster one. Tks a lot.

I have not driven a copper and clubman with the same tune so very difficult to tell. Clubman is AWD so can get the power down. If you are going down the modified route you can make them as quick as you want. Drive both and see which 1 you enjoy more , also which do you prefer the look off.

What does this do to your insurance? Im looking to get one done but my insurance company have said I wouldn't insurance me.

Everyone person and every insurance company is different. You must tell them of any changes to the car as you will invalidate your policy. Probably have to look around, sorry I cannot offer any other advice. Really worth doing if you can get insured, if you have not seen the driving reaction video that will show the change
