@@DamoDrives A current MINI owner, but its range makes it a no go for me as I commute 200 ish km a few times every week.

Thank you glad you enjoyed it. It does not have the drama of some of the JCW models I have driven but against the Cooper S a difficult choice, comes down to if you have some where to charge it and can leave with 100-120 mile range

I went from a mini cooper to an i3S and absolutely love it for my commute and well everywhere, definitely relaxing, it's serene, and yet so fast feeling a lovely contrast. The mini E must be a hoot on the twisties too though which is one place I miss my mini, the i3S is good but not as good as the mini there.

I reviewed the i3s with range extender about a year ago and really enjoyed that car as well, very different feel as the i3 is really futuristic and open where as the Mini feels and looks like a cooper S. The roads where I drove the car were fantastic and really enjoyable, just the lack of gears meant it was not quite as engaging but still fun and the better car if you don’t need long distance

@@DamoDrives I would definely have had the mini if the range were better,but as my only car I went for the i3S REx secondhand it was a great price and great spec.

What did you think of the digital dash?

I really like it, feels modern but has a unique style to it which still feels mini. New models will start to have the digital display fitted so expected every model of the coming year to have it

I think its an exciting proposition but as long as you dont do long distance drives its great or want to modify the car in terms of performance
