Warning Spoilers! Something I noticed was that the names usually refer to fake as “forger” could mean fake and in episode 10 the Campbell don tennis game they used “phony” as a last name which also refers to fake

My theory is that he doesn't know his real name and at the end of the manga/anime or whatever, he's going to realize he likes his role as a father and further embraces his role of Loid Forger and ends up taking up the name or something.
