I'm going to keep saying this! This new version of Lex Luthor (played by Michael Cudlitz) gives me major Wilson Fisk (played by Vincent D'Onofrio in Marvel's Daredevil) vibes. And I like that he has the goatee, kind of like an older and probably wiser Walter White (played by Bryan Cranston) from Breaking Bad.

Cause even with his moms DNA Johnathan is till half Kryptonian I don't see why he can't get them as well that's what I've would have done making the show give both boys their fathers powers. Best for both of them to face Lex not just one Jordan really needed backup when trying to get back their dads heart

If Luthor ever step one foot at the Kent Farm, he won’t be getting off that easy. And hopefully Jordan, Natalie, John Henry or maybe Tal-Rho will make him pay for what he did to Superman, for threatening Lois by making her retired from journalism, and for torturing General Lane.

The reason why lex luthor couldn't care less about superman identity, is the same reason sauron couldn't fathom that someone would try to destroy the ring, lex cannot imagine that superman could choose to be just clark kent.

That is the PERFECT allegory. What's more is that both have similar reactions when they realize that it's true. When Lex gets the full range of Superman's powers, he realizes just how good Superman is and that he's genuine in his intentions. He's utterly shocked and his world is rocked and he surrenders. Sauron, on the other hand, feels the full weight of his folly and oversight and abandons all other concerns in his fury, fear, and humiliation. Their whole worlds are uprooted in the knowledge that some would defy their narrow beliefs

Jordan really does not understand what he has done by going up to lex Luther He was able to Figure out who Jordan is who Superman is, I mean, it’s not a villain to be underestimated. He’s one of the smartest man in the room next to Batman.

@@geraldjames7719 Honestly, not the brightest move on his part. He knows *Superman* would never kill him. However, if I were in his shoes, I would not be pushing a superpowered teenager like that. Its a really, really easy way to get himself killed if Jordan ended up lacking the same restraint that his dad had. Especially after Jordan lost the one thing that kept Lex valuable; his dad's heart. If I were Lex Id be a little worried about pushing him past his limit and oops now the alien actually wants to kill me

Because the amount of things that center around that family eventually one by one persons will put it together or too much events will show their reactions for people to figure it out.

Lex would have figured out that Superman was Clark Kent just based on the fact that Clark would go missing when Superman was killed. This does NOT require any great genius and even the imbeciles of Smallville should make the connection. Clark once went missing for a month the same time Superman and the excuses were starting to wear thin. Simple logic: whenever Superman goes missing, so does Clark Kent. Both are close to Lois. Ergo...

The thing is you’re looking at it from outside in, you wouldn’t put two and two together that easily because IRL it would be so much harder to suspect that, you wouldn’t even know anything about Clark’s private life to even suspect him being a superhero and look over him as a whole, we think it would be that simple because we see everything about his life, the civilians don’t.

Ever since Clark and the family moved back into Smallville, Superman seems to spend more time there than he does in Metropolis! When the two worlds were merging where did he speak to the public? as it was shown in the Justice League cartoon, when Lex took over Flash, he had no idea who the guy was. He doesnt care about the everyman. And one would doubt Lois would publish Clark died in the local paper until Lex moved, if at all. She might of just told the immediate friends. Lana and so on, who would spread it by word of mouth.

Even though it was completely justified, Lois saying to him that he wasn’t his father was harsh. But I get her reaction too-losing her husband and their father is bad enough, but for their greatest and most dangerous enemy to know who they are? I’d be yelling harshly too. What the kid did was so stupid, so impulsive you as the viewer just want to smack him in his head

Agreed! Michael Rosenbaum did an amazing job portraying Lex in Smallville. But it was a shame that we never got to see him truly go up against Clark when he was Superman.

Nobody's treating Jordan with his gloves, the problem is that he acts before he thinks. When it comes to dealing with A-list villains like Lex Luthor, you have to be smart, Jordan wasn't, he didn't think straight.
