This is actually funny because Lois is yelling at Jonathan for doing *exactly* what she has been doing all along! How many times has she only survived because Superman showed up at the last second to save her from something reckless she was doing?

Jonathan lookin like The Question from the DCAU watching the video of Superman roast Lex Luthor in the Oval Office here. There's some parallels to that universe here that might be cool to see.

I may say every now and again that this season was similar to the Raditz saga from DBZ but this was easily the best episode of the season. Mixture of so many emotions in one. Grief, fear, love, regret. How the hell Tulloch didn't get an Emmy award nomination for this alone is beyond me.

Thanks. I know what I am doing with video related content because I have years of experience. I studied animation, film, and games in school. I worked at Brazen for a few contracts and I worked as an intern at Pixar in Summer 2019. Unfortunately, I may have to stop uploading these. Many of the main battles are blocked in all countries, such as the following battle in this episode with the Kryptonite gas fight with Rosetti. I stitched the entire fight together last night, but youtube blocked it. Also, I tried to get monetized in the partnership program approximately seven days ago after reaching over 1,400 and I received a rejection because of "reused" content. I have over 2,000 videos, and most of those were from all of 2020 when I had nothing but job rejections and I was trying to get my youtube channel growing during coronavirus apocalpyse. My problem is youtube is making money on videos when I am not even monetized. So my next plan is to place all of my videos on private except for my main animation videos, or at least use the extra videos to direct everyone to a new channel I am setting up call BTAnimator. Some people want me to focus entirely on animations on the channel. However, I have games and other content as well. As I mentioned, hundreds and thousands of videos. Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, Star Wars, lots of playthroughs, etc. Animation takes days, weeks, or months. My main animation was the Aang Last Airbender August AnimChallenge I did in 2020. That is my highest viewed video. There was only one month to do the challenge, and it had to be 8 seconds. Yes, that long for 8 seconds of animation. And youtube is earning their revenue from it. Animation is not as easy as walking around with a camera recording, or doing reaction videos. The top youtubers do basic editing that don't require much work at all. At least compared to what I have been involved with. This is the problem with youtube. I tried, but I see no point in continuing. I am aiming for Disney and other companies this Summer anyway. There is an animation deadline for Disney in late June, so I am in crunch mode. I am not sure if I want to upload the animation on this channel anymore.

It never made sense why Superman turned Irons over to the government but kept his van. Setting that aside, this was a well-acted scene. The only change I would’ve made was to have Jonathan yell at his mother. He could’ve pointed out that she’s been reckless throughout her career and frequently needed Superman to save her too. I get what the writers were trying to do here. Lois’ anger isn’t just at Jonathan, but at herself for almost losing another child. But imagine how devastating it would’ve been for her to see that her own son was being just like her.

Going headfirst into a very dangerous place, getting stuck in a situation where he’d definitely die under normal circumstances, and having to rely on Superman to save their life? This scene, nothing ever felt more real. I felt this. I was scared. I panicked too and damn near cried when John pounded on the door and couldn’t get out. Then more when Lois kept yelling “he’s my son” and nothing happened. Then when Superman heard them you could hear the pain and the fear in Lois’ voice. Pain and fear like that, you can’t act that. It had to come from somewhere. For this scene, ins ire the scores had to tap into something rough to make it as real as possible and that made this epic. I mean I cried, scared, a little. ☺️ I’ll admit that. But I also cried a lot relieved when John came out safe. Then after learning about Nat and how Lois compared John to Nat, I kind of understand why Lois was so harsh to John about all this.
