Wow! This is nice. You cannot predict how a storm will go, so you just add the paint and let 'er rip! I love the "sparkle" in the water that a dry hake makes. I also like Fabriano paper because it lets me lift out quick readily. Thanks, Lois! :)

Hi 😊 I really like the concise side of your videos. it's brief and really very well explained. I don't really like the too long videos that you can find elsewhere because we spend a lot of time watching them and watching them again because we forgot the techniques explained at the beginning. Your videos are very well suited to all audiences without being time-consuming. I am progressing quickly by making your landscapes despite being a beginner. It is a pleasure to watch you paint. Your tutorials are easy to follow and really suitable for beginners, I think. You also fiddle very little or rather you don’t fiddle at all which for me ruins everything-the painting and the paper all together Do you think I can practice your technique on 9x12”? (I don’t own any 22X30” sheets of paper at the moment). The effect of your techniques is amazing. Thank you.

I'm from New England. Birds--gulls chiefly, are the initial thing seen before anything else. They, for me, are the period at the end of a waterscape sentence. But that's just me, my preference.
