he should go pike fishing with those temu, i think they hold up pretty well, i lifted 2 5 liter bottles with the temu reel, 1 liter is somewhat equal to a kg, and my reel is rated to 10 kg drag

That imitation corn is great for hair rigging onto a circle hook? You run a short line from the hook with the bait attached to it. You can get specific Carp rigs in the UK for hair rigging baits. It's really effective as Carp always inhale and exhale when grubbing around for food. Carp anglers in the UK use baits called "Boilies" (because it's boiled when they make it). They're a semi-hard sphere that you can get a rigging needle through and it won't self destruct. They're usually flavoured in a strong synthetic way, there's literally from strawberries and cream to squid or fish flavoured. I've often thought they'd smash a few big cats and river carp on Lojo's local.

I have that line spooler. You mount it behind the first guide. Mounted correctly, there is no lopsided spooling of the line on your bait caster. As long as you adjust the tension correctly it works well. You also can spool your spinning reels with it. You mount it a bit differently, according to the instructions. That setting has spooled several of my spinning reels with minimal line twist. My biggest problem with it is that the rod mounting sections are all too big for most of my spinning rods. Works OK for my bait casters. Fun video idea. Enjoyed it! The boat was hysterical. Definitely needed more air. Fishing on your back was priceless. Good thing you brought the Kayaks. Foresight! Ya'd think you might have done something like this before. Thanks for keeping it entertaining and bringing us along. ...I was hoping for a back yard pond update. Nice teaser!

I have that spooler. You actually have to move it past the first eye and then feed it to the caster. once I found that out it actually works amazing! 😂

Lojo, you oughta try the Berkly line spooler. Pair that with the line stripper they have as well and it makes life so much easier. Both items are stocked at academy. At least in my area. They’re on the isle with the fishing pliers and such usually! Been using them for years!

I bought the same bait box as you off of tiktok shop. I also bought Kastking gear. I really suggest their backpack. It comes with 4 tackle boxes and it has tons of pockets as well as plastic sleeves built in for soft bait. I have bought beyond braid and some scissors by them that are sick to.

Last year I switched to piscifun reels exclusively after my Shimano let me down and I’m really happy with them. My Shimano lost all drag/gears while setting the hook. It happened twice in 1 year. Zero customer service. That’s when I decided to switch. My Piscifuns pulled some donks out of Texas lakes. Also this weekend in Ohio I was able to snatch a 5.5 pounder with ease.

I bought a similar Piscifun spooler that has a line counter (in ft🤷🏻‍♂️) and it’s better to set the clamp above the first eye versus that close to the reel. It works great and the counter is semi accurate. Only issue I have is on very light line it is hard to get the tension good to where it isn’t overlapping and causing backlashes.

Spigot & Ferule design is THE PROPER way to do a multi-piece rod because it essentially makes the pieces work more uniformly like a single-piece construction type of rod. The best Fly rods are all Spigot & Ferule and it's what you want in any multi-piece rod. The Kastking Spooler tool works PERFECTLY FINE! You need to install it above at least 2 eyes on the rod so the line isn't being yanked to one side. That's bad on you, not the product. I waited to the end and didn't see any mention that it was user error.

For those small inflatable boats for us big people you need to add a wood board on the floor of the boat so it dont crease like that and let water in, it makes it more stable if you know what i mean would love to see you try it sometime ❤

The line spooler is EASY to fix. 1: Throw the manual away. 2. Move it about 6-12" further down from the reel. 3: Rotate 90 degrees.

For the line spooler, twist it to where the line is up top… OR, put if further down the pole so it goes through an eyelet first, centering it.
