catch a bunch of shiners from the swamp and throw em in the pond then go catfishing with the ones that dont make it ,the key to huge bass is tons of bait but you dont want to stock bluegill or sunfish a ton cuz once they get to a surtain size not much cant be eaten by much.

4:38 No way, I went in for cheap heavy rods and got the 6'6" "whoopin stick" spinning rod knowing it's prolly breaking soon. It does spin a bit (reel can spin off the axis of the guides on the rod) but has been holding strong otherwise for at least a year of pretty heavy abuse. I highly recommend if you want a very cheap/affordable rod because you will always find them crazy cheap. The way it spins off its axis doesn't really negatively affect the fishing in my opinion.

Have same set up from Bass Pro but with Abu Garcia black max and the rod comes apart after about every 15 casts. Glad I’m not the only one that has that problem with the Whuppin’ stick
