Raziel doesn't really die, just becomes trapped. Before he purified the Reaver in the Defiance timeline, his soul was fated to become insane inside the Reaver, but once he bathed the Reaver in the Soul forge it allowed his past soul to be restored and thus when he was finally absorbed after healing Kain he became the Reaver's true power.

+604Sonnelion Really? This is the same song (same backing tracks than in the video), and the lead parts are more acurate in the studio version. On the video the sound is mono and super low quality... Anyway, I plan to re-record a version of this cover in the near future, so stay tuned :p

Actually, the member of Crystal Dynamics that came up with the whole Soul Reaver series has left. Not to mention that the Voice Actor for the Elder God has died. Since the Elder God was the main villain, minus the Hylden Lord that's now possessing Janos Audron's body, they cannot really do a new one. Unless the focus is moved towards the Hylden Lord, and they somehow got that programmer back.

But the Hylden Lord then proceeded to get killed in BO2 years later, alongside Janos being trapped in the demon realm. So there's no chance of him returning, the Elder God is unlikely because of Tony Jays unfortunate departure, but there are still plot twists left unexplained, like Voradors resurrection and The Third Choice Kain keeps babbling about, plus it's been debated for an age whether or not Kain would one day have to face himself down to save Nosgoth. So maybe a 40/60 against a new LoK

That's exactly what i said man...look, if you check my post and read it carefully, you'll see that what i said was that sr2 trigered BO2, the thing is that when BO2 hapened raziel and his brothers didn't existed and weren't Kain's minions, wich means that BO2 hapened in a paradoxal time but not in the actual storyline. It's so simple that i doesn't need any rough explanation.

BO2 is just one of many realities that could have hapened when Kain refused the sacrifice and when raziel refused to kill him, but BO2 does not have any role in the legacy of kain series that makes it's storyline go any further. Got it now?
