Even after knowing him for less than an hour. I'm sure there are unknowns out there that could have done it, but not to that level. He's so good.

Classic Loki went out like a G. He died laughing and happy knowing that he pulled the greatest trickery of all and used it for good, further more discovered that he has a purpose after all and it was glorious. I hope Kid Loki and Alligator Loki have their own spin-off series

I think you're right about there being an "Overlord Loki". There was a shot of a Loki standing by a throne that leaked or was apart of the trailer footage or something, but I remember that still shot of it. It would make sense as to why the TVA has captured more Loki's than anything else and why Sylvie was targeted. The only person who would come close to stopping Loki is another Loki. My theory has changed now. Overlord Loki is either in charge of the TVA or he is working for Kang, the same way our Loki was once working for Thanos.

The fascinating part of that is as Omni says, it wasn't Loki surviving that brought the TVA down on him but his attempt to re-enter the world, which implies that the 'true Loki' is allowed to survive Thanos as long he stays in solitude. So Loki could be alive and if the TVA dissolves, then that Loki can come back. (And I'd love it if it was Richard E Grant's version too so we can have all of them back).

I've put a lot of though into this, so please, think about this for a second and tell me if it's plausible or not: So, Loki and Sylvie find a crazy old man inside that Castle or... Citadel. He is surprised to see Loki and Sylvie and calls them by their name before they introduce themselves. He knows them. Then, he tells them how the multiversal war really started and/or how he did everything so it came to an end. He also tells them of his "enemy", a man whom he trusted and that backstabbed him. A man terribly obsessed with himself and his glorious purpose of reigning over everything and everybody, and that would use any betrayal, lie, or fabricated story to achieve his objective of multiversal dominance not caring about the suffering he'd cause. (Sounds like some mischievous guys we know? Here comes the twist). This crazy old man is the only one able to stop that conniving craven pathetic worm of an existence. However, since he is imprisoned in that big Citadel at the end of time, the only thing he was able to do was infusing his will on one being, thus manifesting himself in every timeline. The purpose of this being would be to inspire others to become better versions of themselves. Their actions would unite heroes from all over the universe to fight together and triumph over the forces of evil. Ultimately, leading them to destroy this "enemy" and bring peace to the timelines. Although he intended to infuse only his will, he also infused in this being his dark emotions. Among those emotions, the regret and anger that came from trusting someone that would later betray him. This being gradually became aware of his glorious purpose, yet they didn't feel joy about it. The darkness inside of them made them feel burdened by it. As they grew older, they developed an inferiority complex that twisted them into becoming almost like the very existence the crazy old man sought to destroy. Even going as far as betraying everyone who ever loved them. Yes. This being was, is, and will be named Loki. The real meaning of the name Loki meaning "knot, tangle, loop". As in Loki becoming a knot. A tangle. A loop in time. A never-ending existence bound to never have an end, which explains why they never truly die. The crazy old man tells them that he couldn't really exercise any power over Loki beyond of what he had already done. The only thing he could do was watch him. He has watched an infinite amount of Lokis. He's seen their entire life, every little scheme, and felt powerless as their history repeated itself over and over and over again. At one point, he didn't remember when exactly, a Loki decided to take a different path. He felt excited for the first time in eons. Maybe this Loki could break the loop of misery they had gotten into, and break free towards his real purpose. That's when the TVA, his TVA came, captured the Loki, and made sure nothing lived as evidence that Lokis had tried to fix themselves. The Loki, then, would completely disappear and the crazy old man would never hear or see them again. Loki after Loki. All of them following the same path, and the ones who deviated from their path were eventually vanished. In the end, they always existed, but they always perished. It was then that the crazy old man realized that he would always be alone. That everyone like him was bound to go. That at the end of time it is only He Who Remains. I'd appreciate your thoughts on this. :)

I don't get the Old or Classic Loki, said that he *SURVIVED* getting Killed by Thanos, but in episode 1 Mobius said that Loki was ALWAYS MEANT to be Killed by Thanos, because that is how Time was Supposed to go, so why would the TVA *NOT* take this Loki when he Survived, If infact that WAS Against how Loki' s life was supposed be ? I think as long as he kept himself in exile, Classic Loki wasn't affecting the timeline(and was presumed dead by everyone)so there was no violation and TVA left him alone until he chose to return. Sort of like the way they didn't bother Sylvie until she seemed to be choosing a path of heroism. They didn't appear to care if she was female as long as she followed the typical Loki path

And yeah, as soon as I saw that building(and since they said Loki wasn't "Required" viewing for the MCU going forward) I immediately thought that it's a Loki and he made the TVA to get rid of all the other Loki's to be the only one.. And with Sylvie, for a character who never had any friends and hated Renslayer and the TVA her ENTIRE life, for me it made zero sense that she would trust her in the slightest, especially not after 30 seconds. And yeah I really don't think it's Kang, if they said nobody has to watch this for MCU continuity it seems like they wouldn't introduce the potential Main Villain of the next phase in this show.

But, I think either the end of the episode or a post-credits scene will reveal that is a "fake-out". I think with the TVA dissolved, there will be nothing to stop Loki from re-entering the timeline. And Classic Loki told him exactly how to survive Thanos and fake his death.

Very good episode. I hated how Sylvie really good fooled a bit and how she didn't hurt her more. Teared up when he hugged Mobius. And so sad to see older Loki sacrifice himself, but so much power, conjuring up the city of Asgard! But what I wonder, is this just one place where everything goes? Also how did Frog Thor get air!? Alligator Loki is so cute. And no, Loki didn't do that because then the TVA tape wouldn't have ended.

As for the tape ending, we don't know that they fell for it too just like how Classic Loki was able to avoid their detection by exiling himself. It would be weird if they knew he survived and let him live out his days as long as he didn't interfere.
