The frog in the jar is Throg, a frog who got the powers of Thor and able to wield Mjolnir. His jar is labeled T365, which actually means Thor #365, his first appearance. The Thanoscopter is a reference to Spidey Super Stories, a 70's comic series aimed at very young children starring Spider-Man. In this, Thanos had a helicopter that has his name proudly marked on it.

Alioth is a transtemporal entity that destroys across multiple timelines. The only place he can't invade is Chronopolis. The kingdom of Kang the Conqueror. Which exists on the outside of limbo. I am increasingly convinced that what we see behind Alioth when they enchant him is Chronopolis.

While Thor was once turned into a frog by Loki, Throg is actually a different character. He is a frog who touched a sliver of Mjolnir that had broke off (at some point) and, because he was Worthy, was given the powers of Thor.

That cover of The Ride of the Valkyrie at the end was so awesome! It was so fitting with the recreation of Asgard and also because valkyries are tasked with taking the fallen warriors from the battlefield to Valhalla. I mean the old Loki was fighting and died. Fitting theme to go I suppose. EDIT: Turns out the English Version is called "Flight" of the Valkyrie. The original German name is "Ritt der Valküre". So I just translated word for word

Very good episode. I hated how Sylvie really good fooled a bit and how she didn't hurt her more. Teared up when he hugged Mobius. And so sad to see older Loki sacrifice himself, but so much power, conjuring up the city of Asgard! But what I wonder, is this just one place where everything goes? Also how did Frog Thor get air!? Watched this episode this morning at 9.00 a.m. U.K. time. I really thought there’d be another mid or end credit scene like last week. I thought Richard E. Grant was really good as the older Loki. So it's been pretty clearly implied that there have been multiple variants of Mobius, like with the coffee cup rings and him not recalling there having been a Loki-gator. IF then there have been multiple Renslayers, maybe this one really doesn't remember what Sylvie's nexus event was? A different one arrested Sylvie, maybe?

In the comics, Alioth is the first being that was able to exist outside of time. Alioth is sort of a rival of Kang, taking over various timelines. His empire is 3 times bigger than Kang’s.

Hi guys :) Nice ti see you react, so funny, moving or genuine.. For the easter eggs : At the ending sequence : Tones are in blue, green and purple... Definitely Kang's colors ! And so many easter eggs : The Thanoscopter, The giant YellowJacket helmet, the Head of the Living Tribunal surely.., the Black Aster : Giant Ship of Ronan, The broken tower of Stark, Throg in a jar.... And the US Eldridge from the 'Philadelphia Experiment' (there's a movie produced by John Carpenter from the 80's with Michael Paré and Nancy Allen casting, verry good movie). Definitely the best Marvel show for now... PS : You should put some musical or sounds SFX on the pre-generic, but it's just a thought :) Keep going :p

It would be really interesting to see Classic Loki’s timeline after he escapes Thanos - and it could be in another season of Loki with Tom playing the role, because Classic Loki is our (MCU timeline) Loki and what happened if Loki had of done what we all thought he did (during that year of waiting between Infinity War and Endgame...i.e. faked his death). So young Classic would be MCU timeline Loki (i.e. Tom). So the cool thing is (whether those adventures are shown to us or not) our MCU timeline Loki did have a branch where he faked his death by Thanos.

Classic Loki spent most of his life living for his own survival....only to realize that he must sacrifice himself for someone else's. And he does it, willingly, with a smile on his face as he dies. That's damn good writing for a one-episode character. Also, Richard Grant was amazing as Loki. I demand a 3-episode FRIENDS-style show with varient Loki's, instead.

I agree with Wendy that while I enjoyed this episode, it also left me a bit unsatisfied and I am also very surprised there was no post-credit scene. Still fun and good comedy. Just, for me, things like just enchanting the creature as a way to end all this and get to the Time Keepers seemed a bit too easy of a solution and all that was needed for someone to leave the Void was a temp-pad (sp??). But, oh well, it was still fun, just not as exciting as last week's, which probably hopefully means the finale will be awesome! I actually wondered that when Mobius suddenly showed up with the car for Sylvie if time passes very differently in the Void like in the Quantum Realm and Mobius may have actually been there for days or weeks since he was pruned before Loki was. I also wonder what would happen if Mobius just started pruning everything he could find at the TVA he thinks might help people in the Void. For example, would any of those infinity stones at the TVA be effective in the Void? I would guess the Void would have to be almost endless if everything and everyone who ever got pruned (and the creature did not devour) since the formation of the TVA got sent there. Part of me hopes the following does not happen because it would be a predictable, almost cliche thing to do. But, once the TVA and/or Timekeepers are destroyed (if even possible), then every timeline that ever got reset and everyone who ever got pruned just gets returned to the way it was before. So, for example, Old Man Loki is re-materialized and returns to the planet he was on before and the main Loki returns to NY 2012.

Crazy thought! So older Loki sort of implied that if our Original Loki was strong enough he could have made a projection of himself to trick the Mad Titan during Endgame. THROG! Frog Thor. He's a frog who was found worthy by lifting Thor's hammer. So he has all the powers of Thor. In comic history Thor got turned into a frog once, another story a human was turned into a frog once then lifted the hammer. Also think he's just a frog who somehow lifted mjolner becoming Throg.
