This 1 episode has some of the best use of time travel/glitching moments of all time. The way that Loki, Mobius and OB were all able to have a 3 way conversation across 2 different points in time blew my mind WHILE also making die laughing. Not to mention the absolutely perfect building of tension in the last 10 minutes, I felt like I was watching Inception. And Ke Huy Quan is absolutely PERFECT as OB, hiring him for Loki is one of the best decisions Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios has ever made. Also Loki time slipping looks absolutely painful. Like he’s being ripped apart while being turned inside out.

The reasoning behind the covering of the mural and the changing of statues. Some time in the past, Kang reset everyone’s memories and replaced himself with the android Time Keepers as the public figure. It’s why Casey said the crack in the tile has always been there, even though in the past he saw it happen. It’s also why Mobius doesn’t remember Obi. Kang likely didn’t reset Obi’s memory since he never leaves and didn’t witness what needed to be erased.

Obi is in a out of the way place, but also fixes broken gear and wrote that manual that everyone has on their desks. Perhaps... he knows too much of the technical aspect to be wiped?

Just to let u guys know what’s happening to Loki is time-slipping which is different from the glitching in the spider verse movies. Time-slipping is when he jumps from different time periods(past, present, future)on the same timeline where the glitching is when you jump to different universes

While I do believe OB remembers Mobius because he got his memory wiped less frequently, you have to think. If OB never got his memory wiped he'd think Kang is still in charge of the TVA but as far as we know that's not what he thinks so he's definitely had a memory wipe at some point but also, we don't know how far into the past Loki is slipping to. It could be thousands of years at first and when he meets OB it's only a few hundred years. My theory is that something happening is what causes the memory wiped rather than He Who Remains doing it. Maybe it's everyone in the TVA finding out they're variants, maybe it's something else but since OB is so sidelined he witnesses this event less frequently than the others which is why he's memory gets wipes less frequently

If you rewatch that final scene, just before Loki sees Sylvie there is someone sneaking up behind him. It looks like Loki in his TVA outfit. I'm thinking as he walked towards the elevator, he is remembering things from the past as it's happening (like OB talking to Loki and then remembering in the future) I'm wondering if Mobius is the one calling while Sylvie goes up the elevator. All planned to get Loki pruned in time.

That premiere felt BIG ! When I saw the images of the whole "fixing the timelines" stuff, I thought it was going to be something that would happen at the finale, and they OPENED THE SHOW with it !? Given the scale of everything, it almost felt like a season finale for s1 rather than the opening episode of s2 ! I just hope it doesn't peak early then go downhill all from here, but damn ! This 2 years wait was SO worth it ! Also, I love that in the rest of the MCU, time travel only create branched timelines, but within the TVA, it's back to good old linear time-travel shenanigans à la Back to the Future or Chrono Trigger, when changing the past directly influences the future/present. I really missed this kind of time traveling trope, and I love that they used the fact that the TVA has a different relationship with time than the rest of the universe to bring it back ! PS : Long live Ke Huy Quan ! PPS : SKIN ? Followed by the thumbs up ! That's the best comedy the MCU has had in a long time ! Long life Owen Wilson ! The only way out of the Loop of Endless Kangs is Doctor Doom. Loki must inform Doom that a 31st-century descendant of Reed RICHARDS (named Nathaniel RICHARDS, aka KANG-PRIME) uses his Time-Platform to make a Multiversal Empire. Doom is the true master of time travel in Marvel, analogous to a Michelin 31-star master chef. AVENGERS ENDGAME time travel cooked up by Stark and Banner using Pym-tech is like an Easy-Bake Toy-Oven method of time travel. When Doom (probably ca. 1960 if reports about the upcoming FANTASTIC FOUR movie are to be believed) finds out about the Kangs using his Time-Platform, he will focus all his thought and will into solving the problems of the Kangs. That may be why the Fantastic Four disappeared in the 60s. And that may well explain why, throughout Phases I--V we have not seen Doom as he was preparing for the Kangs. The thing is, the MCU prime timeline already diverged from the comics massively, both in terms of character backgrounds and who met whom and who is already dead, I hope they won't try to shoehorn the comicbooks version into the MCU. What is hardly ever noticed is this fact: Marvel Studios never diverges completely, and never from the essential elements. Loki still begins the Avengers, brings the team together. Ultron is still the baddie of AGE OF ULTRON. Steve and Tony and their conflict still rules CIVIL WAR. The INFINITY SAGA still revolves around Thanos. SECRET INVASION, while drastically different from the comics series, remains Skrull-centered. And the Kangs are the villains of the DYNASTY OF KANGS. Do the logic then for SECRET WARS. Also as a movie-watcher, too much of anything kills it. So logic suggests that there must be an ending to the Kangs, no matter how good it is to watch them menace our superheroes. SO the Kangs must end. But how? There is no ending the TVA or Kangs by killing He Who Remains = Kang the Conqueror = the Exiled One. The Conqueror is the Exiled One, and he learned about PRUNING when he was the first ever to be "pruned" (before it was labeled that) at the end of his fight with Antman and the Wasp. The technology of pruning is simply the refinement and application of what Kang the Conqueror already experienced. Where is he after vanishing from the Quantum Realm? The Void, probably running for his life from the Monster, Alioth. How do you think he weaponized Alioth without first DISCOVERING Alioth? For that to happen, a Nathaniel Richards Kang-variant must be pruned. And that happened in QUANTUMANIA. All Kangs are variants of 31st-century Nathaniel Richards, descendant of Mister Fantastic/Reed RICHARDS. Nathaniel Richards found the lost SPACE-TIME PLATFORM of Doctor Doom and that's where the Kangs come from. Among the Kang-variants, none are so great and powerful as He Who Remains. Do we know which Kang that is? We do if we pay attention. He Who Remains is none other than the real Kang the Conqueror. Going by the span of his life FIRST he was the Conqueror, then SECOND he was banished as the Exiled One by the OTHER Nataniel Richards variants we must pay attention to (Centurion, Pharoah Rama-Tut, and Immortus = the three unbroken statues in the Citadel at the End of Time). Then THIRDLY Kang the Conqueror or "the Exiled One" discovered what PRUNING IS accidentally in battle with Antman and the Wasp. Where'd he wind up? With Alioth in the Void! Next step: weaponize Alioth, have the monster consume the Dynasty of Kangs, and rule as He Who Remains. That's how the Conqueror or Exiled One earned the title! The reason why the Time Variance Authority CAN and DO prune things is because He Who Remains (aka the Conqueror, aka the Exiled One) discovered what pruning was first-hand fighting Antman and the Wasp. So as long as Kang the Conqueror = the Exiled One = the Pruned One exists, it's just a matter of TIME before He Who Remains shows up by having Alioth consume the Dynasty of Kangs. That's the ending to the Multiversal War, and would be the ending of AVENGERS THE KANG DYNASTY. Which, of course, would not be an ENDING AT ALL because just as He Who Remains told Loki and Sylvie, the cycle goes on forever! "See you soon!" Except it won't continue forever. Not this time! Why? Because of the 616-Avengers in ENDGAME. They don't know it yet, but their mistake with their stop in 2012 eventually will save them from the Kangs. Why? Because that mistake created the chaos of the Loki-variant who escaped and would join the TVA and meet up with another rogue Loki-variant. Because of the pair's unpredictable chaos and meddling, eventually, this will inform the INVENTOR of the Time-Platform all Kangs depend on... DOCTOR DOOM. And Doom will use the Scarlet Witch against the Kangs forever destroying this loop. RIP Kangs. One glaring weakness of Kang is lack of magic. Doom is the greatest student of Cogliostro. The Time-Platform isn't just science and technology, it is magical also. Most Kangs, perhaps with the exception of Immortus, do not understand this. It's one thing to USE a technology; it is quite another to understand HOW SOMETHING WORKS. I believe an informed Doom is our way out of Endless Kangs. He prevents Wanda's suicide because Wanda can obliterate the Kangs. That's how we escape the endless loop of Kangs. Doom convinces Wanda that her redemption and destiny lie in obliterating every single Kang -- including the Conqueror --not by sending them to Alioth in the Void, but to be WIPED CLEAN OUT OF EXISTENCE ALTOGETHER like she did to the Darkholds. Chaos-magic, baby! Remember, He Who Remains may PLAY at being God, but Kang didn't CREATE the universe! He just at some point manipulated things WITH SOMEONE ELSE'S TIME PLATFORM. Watch ETERNALS if you don't believe me -- Nathaniel Richards is not the Genesis of Marvel, but the Celestials sure sound more like the real deal in that department. That means He Who Remains and the Dynasty of Kangs is an ARTIFICIAL, UNNATURAL and DEPENDENT construct tolerated for a transtemporal duration... but not always like the TVA slogan goes! Here’s two things to think about all at once: Oroborus is Norse mythology. X-5 in the Marvel Comic verse is part of the Weapons experiment projects, i.e. Captain America (X-1) and Wolverine/Weapon X(X-10) X-5 code name is Grendel. Name is from Beowulf. Was thinking the future he went to was just a few mins, or hours later, as the TVA is already kinda going crazy - but its probably going to be the season finale - OB gets the retrofit on the device - and is goes from all the branches existing - to all of them being tied down into 1 universe again, as all the agents of the TVA are forced to flee somewhere else, maybe the citadel at the end of time? and possibility the excuse we need to get deadpool, and xmen, and every other property into one single universe lol. (and the whole - future Loki/X 5.B 15 pruning-past Loki, as he's lured by a phone call from B 15, or X 5, or Mobius wherever they are, maybe OB, as hes retro fitting the thing, and Sylvie is told that past Loki is there - which is why she says 'there you are' - and probably helps keep loki distracted, for whoever to walk up and prune him like they need him to be.

Mobius picked up the prune stick when loki dropped it, so that's why it wasn't there when loki went to the future. Maybe he connected it to that device thing that was meant to pull loki out of time stream. So when loki got pulled, it pruned him at the same time

Clearly Sylvie and Loki will be working together again in the future and find themselves in the TVA. They briefly get separated and that's the moment they are reunited. We'll see that moment again and find out who's calling.

In that end credit scene, it popped up that Sylvie was in Broxton, Oklahoma. In the comics, Broxton is where Thor rebuilds Asgard after Ragnarok, it's also where Sylvie Lunshton comes from, she's the character from the comics I believe Sylvie was mostly based on, who isn't actually a variant of Loki, but someone Loki created, as a joke.

You Know, OB pulled Loki from the time stream to stabilize him in the TVA, he actually might have done this to all the TVA workers who were also variants and experienced time slipping during the making of TVA because every variant is unstable at TVA which is the reason why every court decision in TVA were all guilty and hence they were pruned because they will become unstable at some point like loki .And also because of this reason, OB says it is impossible to time slip in the TVA because only people allowed here are the ones who have been pulled from time stream and the rest variants are pruned. Sylvie is returning to all of her "homes" in the disasters she hid in for her whole life. She grew up in these places, only to see them destroyed over and over. Now she wants to see all her homes the way theyre meant to be. She cant be tracked now that the timeline is branching all over. Its like trying to find a specific needle in a mountain of needles.

The cinematography and the vibe is so much better this time. Most of the MCU shows should have a handheld look like this. And Kangs buildup is still dope in this one. Antman3 was a mistake to be honest. I wish I could forget about that movie.
