I think the TVA is a front for Kang the Conqueror, the heavy for Phase 5. I think Kang set this whole thing up and monitors the timelines before his time using the TVA and the mythos he put in place for it.

@@f2pcoder92 The fact that it's full of lies and propaganda doesn't mean that literally anything and everything we've been told is outright false. The "Sacred Timeline" does appear to be an actual thing (even characters wholly unaffiliated with the Timekeepers/TVA, like the Ancient One, recognize that screwing around with the timeline can be dangerous), and the TVA does in fact police it by eradicating or indoctrinating anything that strays from it. What the brainwashing and propaganda suggests isn't strictly that the timeline or their methods are completely false, but rather that there's a very different *motive* behind why the Timekeepers do what they do than what the TVA believes/claims.

In the comics, Sylvie (Loki's "variant") was one of the bearers of the enchantress mantle (not DC's, there is a Marvel character called Enchantress). The enchantress (in the comics) was an Asgardian with sorcery powers and has been an accomplice of Loki on several occasions (example: in the animated movie "Hulk vs Thor", I recommend that movie)

What we can say is that her entire timeline is off the sacred timeline because sacred timeline Loki is the Loki in Avengers. She could never have been on the sacred path. As terminology I'm not sure if everyone in a branch reality is called a varriant or just the people causing the branch. It makes little difference in practice since the TVA would murder both.

I'm beginning to suspect Sylvie is actually Loki's daughter. Her curiosity of who Loki loved makes me think she wants to know more about her mother. Her hate of the TVA also leads me to believe they erased her timeline because Loki wasn't supposed to have a daughter on the "sacred timeline" and she's adopted because someone saved her from being erased and raised her.

It's my theory, that she branched off the sacred timeline when she got told early in life she was adopted because it seems that Loki getting told when he did was when he was supposed to. Perhaps it wasn't Silv but her mom who was a variant that got pruned from the timeline along with all the future she created. If you remember when Loki's mom was killed he went far enough to complete his mission and kill the one that killed her before heading back to Asgard to lament.

I think that's a good-ass theory about Sylvie's motivation, Anthony. Her wanting to take down the TVA just so have control of her own destiny. Explains why she isn't interested in taking over the TVA like Loki is. I think Loki has Sylvie under his enchantment and by him always asking Sylvie how to do enchantments and sharing personal stuff about himself is to throw off Sylvie that he got her under to extract information from her. That time lapse on the train when she was asleep is most likely when Loki first put her under and they can still be on the train and portal gadget is not broke.

Let's go through this one more time. A variant doesn't always look the same or have the same powers! Mobius established that last episode. Also she clearly stated that loki isn't who she is anymore! And the people who are variations in the Tva probably don't even know they are. That doesn't mean they're evil. There's 2 different enchantress in marvel, the original one named Amora and the newest one name sylvie who was created by Lady loki in the books

Did anyone else notice the bad editing in the train scene? When the two guards grab Loki to throw him out the window he is wearing his TVA jacket but as he goes through the window he has no jacket on, then when he hits the ground and rolls he has the jacket back on again and after he gets up and it cuts to him walking the jacket has disappeared and is gone for the remainder of the episode.

My theory from this episode is that: 1. Sylvie is not the real Loki variant. I do think so because there were few moments where Loki finds she is very different from her. Also in the scene where Loki gets drunk and singing in asgardian, he was singing something and it looked like he was testing that she knew asgardian Or not. And from the look of her face i assume that she was understanding what he was singing. So to find the real truth he willingly lets guard to throw him from train so that he can get more time with here.(After all he is God Of Mischief). 2. He has the real tempad. The broken one was his trick. 3. That was not a time stone. It was loki's telekinesis power. 4. The real Loki variant is still not shown and he might be behind sylvie

If you have not noticed, the part where Sylvia fights guards at the gold door in TVA, in the trailers we see a hood covering her hair but here it is not. This was done willingly by marvel to hide that this variant is a woman.
