Loki is easily the best show the MCU has to offer. Season 1 shook us and helped transform us. Now season 2 takes us to unpredictable spaces and places with similar high octane stakes.
Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson bring their best in episode 1 along with the rest of this stellar cast. We loved seeing Ke Huy Quan as Ouroboros and how his brilliance adds a whole new layer to the world of the TVA. We can’t forget Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15 and her passionate presence now fighting on Loki’s side.
Talk about unpredictable and every details matters once again! This is the best yet. You’ll hear in our commentary more about how this series just stands above the rest for us. But what about you? What’s you takeaway on this show and it’s characters?

One of the few reactions where someone realizes its almost definitely Loki pruning himself. Loki is the only person who'd know exactly when it had to happen AND wouldnt hesitate... because he already knew it had worked.

@@maybachyard Like if it was me writing and I wanted to have an awesome scene. You have the person that tazed him be Sylvie and then we get a past vs future Sylvie fight or something. And it was actually Loki on the phone that was calling to warn.

I think he pruned "himself". He was "lost" in time, and it looked like he just gave up. But then in that future he saw Sylvie "there you are, take my hand" she said; clearly indicating they end up together. This motivated him to go back to the past and find Sylvie since it actually happens, it gave him purpose. I am very impressed by the show.... very impressed.

It’s so nice to see a family that makes time for each other. I love this channel! 💕 My two favorite things in this episode are the name ‘Ouroboros’ (which is fascinating looking up online) and the Time Loom. The Time Loom takes strands of timelines and weaves them into a rope of time. That, combined with the description of Ourboros, prompts a whole bunch of questions.

@MaJeliv, 19:30 When you consider that Oroborus doesn't interact with anyone but Miss Minutes, you might conclude that there isn't a reason to erase his memory--the last person O.B. saw was Mobius 400 years ago, and that was because he got off on the wrong floor by mistake and we were told that he left immediately. The others had their minds wiped because they witnessed something that jeopardized Kang's plans.

I am very impressed by the Sci-Fi in this show. OB's description of what the temporal radiation is; it is not electromagnetic nor particles, it's "temporal"= when it hits something it ages it; hence the obnoxious multi-layered huge suit. Very clever nuanced Sci-Fi.

In the end credit scene, it says Sylvie is in Broxton Oklahoma, in the comics Broxton is where Thor puts Asgard after Ragnarok, he makes it magically appear floating above the ground. A lot of things happened in that comic series, and it gave us a few first appearances also.

Excellent first episode. Loki's time-traveling behavior reminds me of how Spider-people in Sony's Spider-Verse animated flicks begin glitching when they are in the wrong realms. Loki jumps out of a TVA window and lands atop a yellow flying mail truck? It was a nod to a sequence in Luc Besson's surreal sci-fi thriller The Fifth Element in which Milla Jovovich's Leelo does the same thing and arrives in Bruce Willis' yellow flying taxis. Sylvie flees to 1982 Broxton, Oklahoma in a post-credits sequence. In the comics, rather than Norway as it is in the MCU, the real-life town was the location of New Asgard following the devastation of Thor's home realm during Ragnarok. So, the fact that an adoptive) Asgardian ended up residing there in the first place, which is significant. Who Is On the Phone? It is my belief that Sylvie was on the phone trying to reach Loki. Who Pruned Loki? Also, my theory is Loki in the future is the one who pruned Loki in the past.

To quote Bender “WE’RE BACK BABY”! This 1 episode has some of the best use of time travel/glitching moments of all time. The way that Loki, Mobius and OB were all able to have a 3 way conversation across 2 different points in time blew my mind WHILE also making die laughing. Not to mention the absolutely perfect building of tension in the last 10 minutes, I felt like I was watching a Christopher Nolan movie. And Ke Huy Quan is absolutely PERFECT as OB, hiring him for Loki is one of the best decisions Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios has ever made, and just like Owen Wilson he must be protected at all costs. Also Loki time slipping looks absolutely painful. Like he’s been thrown into a taffy puller and is being ripped apart while turned inside out.

We dont know that Sylvie at the end is post-He Who Remains. That could easily be Sylvie we see in beginning of season 1. The dialogue could just as well justify her trying things for the first time.

I Love this show. Trying to figure out what is happening in a world that is so nuts. The Temporal Loom is a brilliant scifi concept. A physical explanation of how in the world could they weave multiple timelines into "The Sacred Timeline". Boom there it is. OK thats how. So many questions. Great to see your reaction to this. I agree that this is the best D+ Marvel show by an absolute mile. Loved how the show started with that shot of the statue. Kinda shows where Marvel stand with things off set. Loved the transition too at 12:26 - was it just me or did it remind anyone of Cerebro and the X-Men?!. This must be the way theyll enter the MCU via Loki's shenanigans right?! 😅 My kids and I loved it. Love to you all. Peace ✌🏾❤

Watching this video after episode 3 played. I was surprised that you guys didn't seem to notice... when it mentioned the Dates, it also mentioned the timelines, saying "Branched timeline" or "Sacred Timeline". If you haven't noticed that yet, keep an eye on that, as it becomes important as the story continues... showing you what's Supposed to happen, and what's not (Sacred vs Branched)! Just thought I'd throw that out!

Is it wrong to connect the time travel/slipping theory between this episode and endgame? This means that captain America might remember fighting himself... Wait no...captain America returned the stones from his timeline, so his timeline has been resetted. But here is the TVA, there are multiple stones...wait I'm confused. I need O.B to explain this to me
