Loki is at he is right now but I guess after sitting on that throne for many of his life years (centuries later maybe), he will evolve likewise he and his time slipping discovery and find a way to make himself a substitute loom that has his inner power that makes him be able to keep the multiverse branches going. With that new loom, he will substitute it with him and he will then be free to roam around multiverse and timeline after that. So maybe he will have the chance to visit Thor and all of his TVA friends at some point.

The reason why he didn't want to kill Sylvie is because he loves her, just like Katniss wouldn't have gone the easy way and killed Peeta. Loki's choice was the choice of a true king. Also, the big space tree is Yggdrasil, its the World Tree from Norse mythology- which makes it an even cooler scene.

He’s actually becoming the “God Of Stories” from the comics. Loki is now essentially the most powerful being in the entire MCU, as he exist outside of the pocket of time and space as he now has the ability to write characters in and out within the constraints of the MCU like a writer.

I mean it's not the end of Loki, he changed the story. His magic is what is binding all of Time together, keeping all of the branches alive...which would make him the most important being in existence. He can see everything, and I'm sure he could eventually project himself anywhere. But he can never physically leave this throne. Ironic and definitely a Glorious....Burden.

I'm so proud of Loki! This episode was epic, but I'm sad as well that he ended up alone. He made the ultimate sacrifice and put aside his happiness to give everyone a chance. I just wish Loki had a chance to say goodbye to Thor and talk to his Mom one last time.

Awesome series/season finale! THIS is what MCU is about; storytelling. Self-discovery and Redemption. I loved the final interaction with Mobius. Loki circled back and was 180 degrees from his former self at that time, or 1 pie radian. Which is also what a “Mobius strip” is; connecting points that form a circle, turned 180 degrees.

The little sneak peek to the tree Yggdrasil - the tree of life in the norse mythology. Around it exists all else, including the Nine Worlds. Basically Loki now holds not millions, not billions, but infinity amount of timelines. Which probably makes him the most powerful being in the whole MCU. For me he will have a huge influence in both Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars. The fact that he's now the WRITER to everything is insane to me. God of Stories Loki ladies and gentleman, what a finale! Can't wait to see what the future brings for Loki but this finale was spectacular. And the fact that he said multiple times that he doesn't want a throne, neither to be God. Only a theory but I think something a lot of people haven't picked up on because of misdirect but I think Renslayer is the actual big threat going forward. It has been hinted at throughout the series if you watch back. She has had the most build up and character development over Kang. I suspect she either becomes a form of Kang in the Void at the end or somehow creates events that cause Kang to become a threat. If you notice the plaque at the end where it shows her fate it actually says "Me Always." Quite possible.

Loki is looking for a solution that saves his friends. Sylvie is one of those friends. 14:29 HWR had the same problem Loki's having now, and his solution was the Sacred Timeline. It was the only way to save the Multiverse. HWR saved the original lines of the Multiverse a wove them into the Sacred Timeline with his Temporal Loom, and he pruned the branches. But before he did that, he took numerous variants from those Branched Timelines and gave them a job at the TVA. I think we're going to learn that Kang (HWR) isn't the bad guy some of us think he is. He did the best he could with what he had, and he spent a million lifetimes keeping it together the only way he knew how--by erasing himself from all of time and erasing all the branches and looping time to keep his job manageable. 15:06 He just said that his variants are already out there, Justin. Kang is here to stay and this series solidified it. People who want Jonathan Majors out, are going to be disappointed 'cause he's here to stay, until this arc is over. The court of public opinion, which doesn't know much of the case at all, isn't going to force the MCU's hand in all this. Loki is a huge success and it wouldn't be with out everyone involved, especially, Jonathan's performance as HWR, his character is at the heart of this entire story. 16:01 Even though this ISN'T Sylvie's story, this EXPLAINS Sylvie's story! Sylvie was pruned because of what she eventually did in this story! She's the Loki responsible for dooming all lives on the Sacred Timeline and Branched Timelines. She hadn't done it yet, but she eventually did. Would she still have done it had the TVA left her alone? Everything else we've seen in Phase Four says that she would have. Phase Four was full of many Multiverse stories, and it showed us that even though things might have played out different universe in the Multiverse that character arc's do indeed rhyme! Pruning Sylvie as a child and letting her live to be a full grown woman always ends with her destroying all of time ='( 23:52 The Life Tree. The last time we saw it was on Asgard, jut before Hela burned it down. 24:31 I don't think so! D90 (26:22 that's the back of his head), the Hunter Brad pruned when he took Victor Timely can be seen in the War Room. Loki became the God of Stories, he told us last episode that he could rewrite the story, and we've been watching him rewrite what happened last episode and the first season here. If he could bring back D90 and change Mobius' story, he can do a lot more--you'll see what I mean later about Mobius' story. 25:13 Mobius DIDN'T see that. Loki left those variants on the 1994 Branch, OB's branch! He returned to the TVA by himself, to the friends he already knew him. 26:45 We needed a second edition because the Temporal Loom no longer exists, right? The TVA also has a different mission statement. They aren't going to prune Timelines like they used to, but HWR's variants as B15 and Mobius discussed just a few moments ago. 27:27 No. Kid Loki was killed after successfully killing Thor, remember? We heard about the story in one of the movies, I think it was Ragnarok. Loki transformed himself into a snake and waited for Thor to pick him up, and once Thor did he transformed back into himself and stab him with a knife. Loki's prank didn't kill Thor, the one we know, but Kid Loki accidentally did ='( The kid Mobius talked about was a child on the Black Sea, so a child on Earth, not Asgard. 27:51 this is what I mean about Mobius' story! Look what's out of the garage and what's not in it! There is only one personal watercraft! And Mobius and his kids are happy. We saw a different story! Loki gave Mobius a happy ending, and now Mobius has to choose to fight what what he has or live that life. Like Sylvie said earlier on the bridge of the TVA, "he's giving us a chance." 29:24 Loki's got the ultimate streaming service, and infinite number of stories and he has the ability to rewrite what he doesn't like. Do you think he'll change his bad deeds? Will we see Phil Coulson back in the MCU? That small change could be huge. Had Phil lived Maria, Talos and Soren might not have died in Secret Invasion. We'll have to wait and see of course, but the final episode of Loki showed us that Loki does indeed have the power to rewrite stories on any Timeline. What an epic ending to this series. I hope we see Loki again, but if not, I'm good with this. I just hope Thor gets a send off as grand as this when it happens.

I love how Kang didnt use his device in the elevator to relocate when Sylvie tried to stab him because he knew this time Loki would stop her. You guys asked "what's the point of the TVA now?" and i think the answer is actually in the Miss Minutes McDonalds commercial... she goes on to explain how the TVA "fixes" mistakes( i don't remember her exact words ). The commercial shows a dude stepping on a butterfly and in the future a dragon butterfly is destroying a city so the tva goes back and stops the dude from stepping in the butterfly... this show was so well done , amazing actors, great score , cinematography, the greatest Marvel Show EVER...

Loki just became the God of stories Loki. His most powerful version. He is now the most powerful character in all MCU. And with himself created the yggdrasil tree of life from Greek mythology. In episode 5 he told Sylvie he wants his friends back he doesn't want to be alone. So he ends up here sitting on that throne with his glorious purpose alone without his friends. That made me cry. I forgot his dialogue " for you for all of us" he said it in the first Thor movie to Odin " I did this for you for all of us". ............. Side note Owen Wilson was the best actor to make him a duo with him in this series. His voice is like the voice of reason we all have . The friends we miss from our early years . The one we always had there.

The rt critic scores for the marvels went up and so the the reviews are not terrible,just not great from critics. The rt score is now fresh at 60% to 61% with a average critic rating of 5.9 out of 10,so that good not great. Audiences scores are really great like 85% and 4.2 out 5 so far. Loki is pulling his punches - he's desperate to save her and stop her without harming her because he loves her. From villain to the keeper of time. It’s safe to say Loki had the best character development in the mcu thus far.

The way I think of it is that there was that bit in season 1 where they were talking about how he always loses and how he only exists to allow others to reach their potential. The Avengers literally came together to avenge Coleson. I think this Loki is doing exactly that but in every timeline. He is restoring free will and the chaos or mischief that comes with it. I think he will subtly push heros in every timeline to be better and to be able to fight and stop the Kangs of their time before their can be a multiversal war. There will be one but not with an infinite amount of Kangs. It will be a fight that can be won, rather than an inevitable destruction of everything. I think the title "God of Stories" fits because what do stories do? They inspire us. There was some quote that I am probably botching but its something like this: Fairy Tales are real, not because they tell us dragons exist but because they tell us that dragons can be slain. The magic Loki gave to the timelines that gave them life was that spark of chaos, that spark of free will. All of those times that the heros should have lost but someone had a change of heart or something unpredicatable happened or someone had that moment of courage was Loki giving them that small inspiration. Bringing out the hero that was there but needed a small push to come out.

There IS a way for MCU to bring back Loki! Because at the end, in the conversation between B-15 and Mobius, they mentioned about the Kang variants. Those variants are searching for the Sacred Timeline which has now been hidden by the infinite timelines revived by Loki. So there IS a chance that the Kang variants would look for Loki.

10:47 No Loki is a much better fighter than this. His mother Frigga taught him magic and swordplay. Look back on Thor: The Dark World, Loki has a very fluid fighting style like his mom. Meanwhile Thor is a straightforward street brawler. Frigga defeated Malekith one on one before his enforcer showed up. Loki is holding himself back so he doesn’t actually delete her. Had he wanted to their fight would have been over very quickly. He is trying to talk her down not beat her down.

The show was fantastic, but there are several plotpoints im stil kinda confused about... 1. ...if "He Who Remains" knew that Loki would get the time-manipulating-powers... wouldnt that mean, that he knew Loki would become the god of stories and replace his loom? 2. ...also wouldnt that mean, there is a third bigger overarching timeloop, where the "He Who Remains" Kang-varient would at some point go to Loki insinde of Yggdrasill, kill him and restart the whole loop? -> creating the loom to replace Loki and mindwipe the TVA (remember Miss Minutes is stil there); Ravonna is in Alioths playground wich means she is outside of Lokis influence and can learn about Alioth and and try to controll him, wich she did to help "He Who Remains" win the multiversal war 3. ...people already speculate that "He Who Remains" tempad was carved out of Lokis horns, wich is why it looks so different and is so strong compared to the other tempads... it inherits Lokis time-manipulating-powers and can manipulate people even without the collars on... 4. One theory i had was... "He who Remains" actually wanted to die, but at the same time wanted to prevent a varient of himself every sitting on his throne again. He paved the road for Loki to permantly replace him and keep his varients in check

There still is a possibility that Loki can come back to Time. He isn't the first character in fiction to sacrifice his freedom to hold powers/enemies in check. The Warcraft franchise by Blizzard Entertainment has two such characters and one of them, actually was forced out of his eternal vigil over Forces than threatened to destroy all things.

I agree that shows that didn't have to rely on a big CGI fight but had to hinge on a good story and characters have done much better lately. For many shows, the fights at the end have been a crutch that haven't landed.
