Thanks for putting this up as I don't have a TV. Great job from Loki and all others involved - packed a lot into a short doc.

It was Sace who made the whole film. Loki just narrated it at the BBC's demand.

Great stuff! Was hoping to see Sir Jinx and others from the Jazz Cellar in Edinburgh, could have been a lot more content

Think it was time constraint, really there could have been a whole series there's so much talent, no MOG either

Rich history with hip hop we have. The new lads today are out representing. Be nice to see the olders gettin back in and solidifying a real presence in the genre. Great video.

Brilliant, great to have this documented as it'll probably disappear from iplayer soon enough and fade into obscurity.

American rap right now is absolute crap, except folks like ASOP ROCK, EYEDEA...r.i.p., NAZ, THe Grouch, Lacrea and mayb some Devin the Dude! Gaelic bards would do B boy battles in front of Kings. Scotch/Irish rap is the oldest and original form in the all the world. We got Blues and Jazz from the African slave chain gangs and they adopted rhyme schemes via their Anglo/Celtic masters

The Scottish accent is cringe? Sometimes. A white guy with dreads and his maw’s shades ? Most def cringe. Shouts to Carlos Garcia- doing windmills before Archie, Marc Smith etc shouts to the breakers that went to the Partick Burgh Hall- this documentary seemed very South Side orientated and no props to some of the true originators in the city from the West End and North of Glasgow.
