Hello Melissa. I hope you are doing well. I wasn't going to get sketches at first because I was disappointed that the doll didnt look exactly like her artwork (too much dark purple around her face). My partner bought me the doll anyway and I was able to hide the dark purple hair in the front under the rest of the hair to really just have that beautiful light rainbow. I absolutely love her even with the accessories. I also gave her a paintbrush and a palette of paint from my bob ross figurine. She is so adorable XD

A friendly tip: When something is too small to see or read take a picture of it with your phone and then maximize the picture. Believe me it helped me SO much since i have bad eyes sight too. Hope it helps.

I love sketches she giving Lisa Frank vibes ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 she has 2 dresses I actually prefer the 1 underneath I couldn’t get the glasses to even work on her face on mine. I like her earrings and her hat although it fit better on dolls with shorter hair like Trendsetter. I like the purse that it opens. I do like the shoes & jacket. And her hair is nice & thick.

I really like this Rainbow Barbie extra mini. She does have a serious expression, and yet her stand is a terrible rainstorm black translucent with raindrops in glitter, and her glasses are jet black as if she's looking into the heart of the rainstorm. So I guess that might evoke something more serious than a smile? I love the way both her ponytails cascade down either side to suggest the rainbow, and that she has the translucent rain skirt over her flowers-bursting-into-bloom black and white dress. She's my favorite of these Barbie Extra Minis. Thanks for the review!

I love Sketches! Neon rainbow explosion. MGA should do a LOL OMG and Rainbow High crossover were Sketches and Neonlicious visits Rainbow High. The Barbie extra minis are cute. But their face mold looks just too blank and for me. Some of them are really cute, like this one and the one with the purple bangs with printed pun 'extra cute'. Love her hoodie also. Love your matching glasses 🤓

I Agree. I think it is the purple lip. The upper lip is shadowed causing the color to look more in the black range which leads the eye into the shadows of the non-painted part of the mouth. This creates a curving down of the mouth or frown affect. The other has the same type shadows, but the orange contrast with the rest of the shadows showing a smile. Both dolls are cute.

Funnily enough, I have complete opposite opinions on these dolls- can't stand Sketches' graffiti dress but love the second outfit and that extra mini is my favorite- but I always enjoy hearing your opinion!

I was never really a Dire Straits fan, but they have some great songs. Money for Nothing is my favourite. We studied it like a poem in my university English class in 1990 as part of a unit on the topic of work. Also, Mark Knopfler makes some lists as one of the top guitarists of all time. I think he shines as a guitarist more than a singer.

Barbie extra minis are the perfect size for someone who wants a little travel buddy. They’d fit perfectly in a purse or pencil case if you wanted to pack a set of clothes and accessories for them.

Sketches has great hair, the top dress is ok, the boots are cool. The Yasss Queen was totally obvious to read on my phone screen! Lol Cute. Otherwise, I'm not impressed and won't be getting her. I'm sorry your mom isn't well. I'm sure you're exhausted and it's hard to work right now. Hugs.

They definitely used to put separate dresses in a different bag, but now that they do window boxes I think they just put almost all the clothes on the doll now! So the doll looks more complete when you look at it in the box

Nope, it says TABBB Queen, at least on your doll;). I don't know, that Hollywood glam underdress petticoat thing seems rather weird to me too. But it's a cool surprise factor. Like from the first dolls when they had a complete set of underwear.

I don't know if you found Melrose in your pile yet, but she's amazing. I was trying to be good in my doll buying and try to wait for sales, so when she first appeared at my Target about 5 weeks ago, I resisted. But then I had a change of heart. She was just too in my wheelhouse to resist. However, when I went back, she was gone. I went online and she was already only in the secondary market! For twice the price. I was bereft. But amazingly, last week, I dug through the OMG dolls at my Target, which was a total disorganized mess,. And. Found. One. Melrose! I'm just thrilled with her. I'm an artist, but I have no interest in Sketches! Meh. But Melrose is everything!

I absolutely hate the seams on Sketches dress. As someone who’s sensitive to textured it looks like it’d feel uncomfortable. Which is a shame because the doll itself is very pretty.
