I have Runway Diva! She is gorgeous! It’s like if an AI was told what the fashion of the ‘80’s was like and then designed an outfit. Ridiculous, shiny, completely unrealistic in the real world but STUNNING! I love the chandelier belt/necklace! The hair pins are not my favorite but everything else is awesome! I can’t wait to see your review on the mermaid Queen because she’s just… she’s so much prettier in person! Her hair is the softest, prettiest aqua color and her clothes are so cute! I named her Venus because I really think they used The Birth of Venus as inspiration.

I think my favorite is Prism. Her whole look is an absolute mess and I love it! There's so much going on, and it just looks so cool to me. Plus, I love those sleeves on that top.

I was the same when I saw "Sways" in my local toy Store- I fell in love with her straight away! I bought two, one unboxed as a collectors item, and the other out on display. You got the hair name right; they are Bantu Knots, and the Red, yellow and green is definitely a Rastafarian thing .They definitely used African tribal makeup and Caribbean additions which is where my family are from (Jamaica). I'm a new collector at 43, and this doll is definitely in my top ten!😊

Divine is giving me more psychedelic swinging sixties like Austin Powers with the swirls and florals…and the white and black print makes me think mod fashion. Prism is probably my favorite. I get some kind of Japanese street fashion vibes with the mix of patterns and shapes. The separated bell sleeve also seems like modernized traditional Asian clothing influence.

I bought Runway Diva first with the RH Jrs. There’s so many dolls I want right now. Sways is next, unless I buy the other three together. After that Shadow High, and I still haven’t got Pacific High yet…. I’m exhausted. I have been watching your channel since last summer, and at that time I only collected Barbie. Because of you, I started my doll education with RH Avery + a now have a huge collection of RH, OMG, Na Na Na, My Life and even more Barbies. Out of all of them, Prism has the least cohesive theme. Normally I’m just like “whatever” but when I found out that she’s Kawaii Queen’s big sister, I was very very disappointed. The fact that they could’ve went with the Kawaii theme and ran away with it but they didn’t is disheartening 😭 I just imagine a combination of Aya Cherry and Lexi Gurl as an OMG doll would’ve been sooo good! Kinda like Candylicious

Runway Diva’s hairstyle is resemblance of current braids. Some girls of color wear breads with hair coming out just like her although it’s usually more than two pieces of hair. I forgot what the hair style is called 🤔

Runway Queen is my favorite. I just love her color scheme. Maybe I can dye Skyler from RH's light blue streaks to make her look like that. I'm so impressed with the styling of those dolls, but find the eyes souless & creepy. I'd only planned on purchasing Vanessa Tempo & Jett Dawson for her accessories; but her eyes are so beautifully done that I connected with her despite only wanting to collect dolls that represent POC.

@@collectablechaoseng Thank you! I don't have Sunset; Virtuelle's braids feel a bit plasticky, not like regular LOL hair. The only downside to a perfect doll 😍 hope MGA has fixed this 🤞

@@bobbynicole10 It's became they use gel in the braids. I have Vanessa Tempo from Rainbow High, her braids felt stiff & plastic-like when I purchased her, but after washing & conditioning they felt as soft my other RH dolls. Just be careful if you do wash them. I definitely recommend taking off any rings that could snag her braids. Also avoid rubbing the ends too vigorously as they can come undone if you're too rough. Her braids probably don't need a full wash & conditioning, but I was already washing another doll whose hair was full of gel. I'm fairly sure her hair would be great after just rinsing out the gel.

My ranking: 1. Runway Diva - I'm not in love with her but I appreciate her glammed up 80s prom vibe she's giving me. I might get her in a few months on clearance. 2. Sways - I really appreciate her details and the dedication to the color palette, but not my aesthetic and she's so neon I can't look directly at her for too long 3. and 4. Miss Divine and Prism - I want to like them, really I do but the longer I look at them the more little things start to bother me. This is probably just a me thing and something I suspect is a neurodivergent quirk, but I'm super picky about how colors go together. With Prism in particular the shades of blue and pink in her hair just don't look right against the shades of blue and pink in her clothing and it makes my skin crawl. TL:DR I'm not a huge fan of this line, but I was as always a fan of this review :))

I saw the Queens dolls at Target yesterday and they had everyone accept Prism and I wanted her the most but I looked for her and found 4 of her and the eye paint on all of them was horrible ant the hair was very messed up so if anyone wants to get Prism I suggest you get her in the stores so you don't get a bad one.

My focus has been OMGs. I've only gotten 2 RH full price as Christmas presents to myself. Then I got a Series 1 Sunny on sale last week, and 2 days later I thrifted a fully dressed Cheer Ruby for $2!! I do love the Shadow Highs tho! Excited for those. But I've gotten 17 OMGs. (Some at sale prices.) I got Sways and Prism aleeady, but the more I see the other 2, the more I want them too! I will hold out a few months for when they go on sale. So, this is how I handle my doll budget.
