Fun The Creatures story as I'm sure you'll appreciate. Saw them in San Francisco many moons ago and at one point Siouxsie, between songs, says something like "you know that feeling you get, that things aren't right, and that you're all alone? Well, you are!" then Budgie banged the drum at that moment and they launched into whatever song
@Turba8028 күн бұрын
How is Lol underrated? He was in The Cure just because he was friends with Robert.
@harolddutton377214 күн бұрын
He contributed a TON to the early Lp’s. Despite Smiths efforts to paint lol as a bad musician his drumming on Faith & Pornography is pretty minimalist and perfect for those albums. He also wrote more early material then he was given credit for - All Cats Are Grey and I’m pretty sure he wrote Birdmad Girl and came up with the piano part on Homesick.

Really great to see Lol and Budgie together doing a Cure song! 40 years ago Robert and Steve Severin collaborated on the Glove. Severin played bass on some live Cure shows and Robert came to the rescue in the early part of Siouxsie and the Banshees' career and was even a member for a brief time between 1983-84. The kinship between The Cure and Siouxsie and the Banshees is just so genuine and wonderful to see. It continues to this day!

Nice to see them having fun, and enjoying their muse. Lol is presenting similar very basic keyboards skills as myself (sausage fingers here) but we know he’s played drums and kbds so often in the past, he’s just dumbed it down to give this interpretation of A Forest. Budgie working hard, bassist too low in mix. Really nice to see though, main thing for me is to see them fit and well and happy. Keep doing what you do guys. ❤
