It is now impossible for me to tweak the parameters on this instrument without out Dan's narration in my head. It is soothing to have that voice narrate the creative process.

Dan, this is beautiful. I've gone over my Spitfire budget, especially with the Black Friday sale. But man if I would have known or been able to have gotten this I definitely would have. Too bad I can't do a return and exchange. This library Is better than some I put 2

I love this library, I’ve it had for a few days to play with and the first impressions are that it is sonically wonderful…and has the character of a Spitfire library (thats a good thing) . It is expressive . As you demonstrate here it is superb to sketch with and latter down the path to rely on in a composition , That’s a hell of an achievement Dan .🙏🙏🏿🎩👍✨🎵

Dear Dan, congratulation for your wonderful Library! Is always a pleasure to hear and see your videos and the process that brings you to create such wonderful music! Incredible. I would love to have some advice from you about harmony (maybe in a future video): how to be emotional and not sound banal (I know very good classical tonal harmony but I find very difficult to "forget the rules" and just produce emotional and interesting chord progressions as I always hear and enjoy in your compositions.) Thank you and all the best! Christian

I would be interested in the stems from these timed writing sessions being available for some of us to remix and add to and add the results to for possible airing on the channel. Does anyone else find that idea appealing?

Very nice! Quick question: Did you write this piece in any particular key? My musical knowledge doesn't really extend beyond pop music genres where I've always just stuck to standard Major/Minor keys when writing music. Or did you just do what sounded good regardless of the key? And if so, is this common practice with this type of music to do that or to be changing keys very frequently throughout the track? Thanks for the video!

I've done a few of these "live scoring" videos now and they seem to have a sound and style of their own. I find the magic often comes from experimenting with chromatic parts that move somewhat ambiguously and then figure out a way to contextualise them with harmony you like. Very trial and error - that's what I like about these challenges. I try to make it come back to the same chord or feel by the end as I had at the start, but other than that it's pretty spontaneous!

Help me out someone, there’s a function in Logic that allows you to press ‘play’ in the middle of a long held note and actually hear it without having to go back to the start of that note. It might have something to do with the word ‘pace’ 🤷🏻♂️ not sure. Any thoughts? 🎉🙏
