One pro tip I have for synth bass is get the free Tal juno chorus vst and slap that on the synth bass. Put 2 saws an octave apart and dial the filter down with high sustain and you are there ( I personally like repro 1 or sometimes I do this with my hardware prophet 5). Sometimes the Minimoog sound is just too much... this is a good alternative.

You can! You'll have to sample the bass patch from Logic and bounce it as a .WAV. Then take that One-Shot Sample into the MPC and make it a "key group"
