I really like this pattern. I'm amazed at how nice the lining fits in the bag, that does not happen often without adjusting the seam allowance. And the divider is something my customers have been asking for.

Very late to the party! You popped up on my KZbin feed and what a fantastic tutorial. It made me feel I could make this bag without the pattern! Thank you so much. Now subscribed , liked and added to my favourites. From across the Pond in the U.K.

Thank you for the great tutorial. I watched the video before buying the pattern and then again before getting started. The pattern was great, but I really appreciated the extra tips. My bag turned out great!

I love the pattern but have not mastered the recessed pocket. I have an adorable purse but I think I am going to take out the recessed pocket as mine did not come out well.

Could you do the 45 degree angle method to attach the two strips together? I had noticed that you did in other handles.
@SewManyCreations3 жыл бұрын
Yes of course you can! I don’t typically join any handles that way but I’m sure you’ve seen other do that. Whatever you prefer!

Hello, new to your page and I want to make this bag, but it would be my first. Do you have more detailed video with measurements? I love the divider and pockets! Ty ty
@SewManyCreations2 жыл бұрын
No because this is a pattern I sell. You would need to purchase it to get the measurements.

I have trouble with decor bond. When I turn my bag, it wrinkles. Can’t seem to iron it out. Could be I’m not using enough heat??

I've seen bag makers put interfacing or E6000 behind the handmade label. Is that something that you recommend as well or does it not matter that much?
@SewManyCreations Жыл бұрын
You absolutely can, it won't ever hurt to add more security to a piece of hardware. I typically don't for tags because they aren't weight bearing but again, never hurts to be safe!

It would be very helpful to use fabrics that look different front and back. I have listened, watched, followed and still put the 2nd back piece on backwards. Ive taken it off twice, thought i finally had it but no. Beyond frustrated.

@@pamlarkin5405 if you read the steps in the pattern while working it will tell you exactly how to line up your fabrics (right side up, wrong side up, etc). The free tutorial that I provided is to help assist.

When you made the strap , sewing the two pieces together in a diagonal would have eliminated bulk beautifully .
