Until last year, when people asked "Make an all time great roster in LoL" I would put names like MaRin, Bengi, Uzi, Mata, Canyon, and so on. But after this, with this insane achievement, I would immediately say "Nah just give me ZOFGK. My thoughts: 1) Can't believe how the draft went on that G5. The biggest tournament of their year, finals, and G5 at that. T1 gives BLG their comfort picks and still comes out on top. Was it a: A) Go with the flow? - Bans/picks just led to one thing and another and they went on with it strategically as they saw fit B) Statement move? - "We will beat you even on your comfort picks, we're ballsy like that XD" C) Planned/Trap? - They already figured this out, they knew the enemy would pick Jax/Ahri and a counter play is ready. 2) I wanna know if the lines in the teasers are 100% scripted? or are there times that players have an input to them? Jeezas, the script in the teaser really hit hard esp. when he "proved" it (from semis teaser) and carried in the finals. I myself am mostly just a worlds viewer, I can only imagine the feeling of the T1 fans who was with them through this year that I understand was very rocky. Its paetially a trap becausse zeus always counters jax with gragas. But mostly its just how the series flowed. They had to ban yone and kalista because they lost 2 games to them already and ofcourse aurora is an auto ban for red side. So they were kinda forced to keep jax open and believe in zeus gragas

I will never understand the draft of game 5 or even game 4. I do not believe in "comfort picks". These guys are the best of the best and they are fighting in the biggest Esports tournament. T1 fully pick countered BLG in G5. And BLG had no synergy whatsoever in their team. They were doomed before the game even started.

Oner is truly a pillar during tram fights, especially with that Poppy in game 4. Gumayusi is so scary that enemy teams must spend bans and resources to keep him behind. And well, Keria is Keria. I think it's understated how important Guma playing around the bans on him was. Fakers champ pool during this tourney was pretty small, and him not being able to play Yone or Yone counters put extra strain on draft, causing T1 to ban Yone on both sides. Even though he makes up for it in game, the rest of the team had to put out for him to make the plays he did. At the end I think each game was still a huge team effort. T1 as a team are just always ready to play around their team members. Zeus gets caught top, and Faker is down to go 2v4. Faker gets caught by three, Oner immediately cults in 2v3 and the team immediately rotates. Zeus willing to sac himself to help the team walk out with Baron buffs. Keria being an unbannable support. Poppy being a triple flex for T1. There are so many aspects in game and in draft that makes T1 an amazing roster, not just Faker making plays.

Holy Moly, such a good series. Faker deserves to be the FMVP and he truly is the GOAT. Thanks to BLG for bringing the 2017 Faker (Mechanial godish Galieo). T1's road to the Worlds 2024 was insanely tough, they barely qualified to the world stage (took down KT); they took down G2 and BLG in the swiss stage; they took down TES in quarter; most importantly they took down GENG (a team that they have been confronting without a win for the past two years); and finally took down BLG. Man....regardless of what, both teams deserve our respect, the true winner is Riot and the audiences. This truly is a different level of BO5, I think only S6 (T1 VS ROX), S12 (T1 VS DRX) can compare to this!

T1's performance and victories at this Worlds is the best of all LOL championships. They went in, lost to only TES at the Swiss Stage and then defeated them 3-0 at quarter. They defeated GenG for the first time in 2 years, breaking the shackle. And finally, they defeated BLG, which, in my opinion, is an LPL team even stronger than JDG of the last year at Worlds. BLG pushed T1 to the bring of downfall and they just ascended to a new form to win 3-2 against this adversary. And the best thing is that the strongest team this T1 roster has ever faced forced Faker to tap into his younger self to absolutely deliver in the last 2 games, I dare say that this is his best performance at not only this tournament but also of his career. The moment Faker screamed NICE after winning game 5 was a blast to see, it looks like Faker got the challenge he had craved for a very long time. This BLG team is insanely stronger, but T1 is a miracle.
