All i have to say is that i am still SO sad this show was canceled. The plot had started becoming sooo interesting and it's such a shame that is was wasted.

Im pretty sure in one episode praxina said that there grandfather was a court jester and it was the episode when mafisto uses a magic staff to put people to sleep and umm i had a theory that they were poor and there family was made fun of and praxina always dragged her brother into trouble and she eventually made a deal with granor and Started learning magic but idk there backstory

Lolirock was a very goated show, and I used to watch it all the time as a kid!! My favorite was Lyna, and even tho she was green, which is my least favorite color, I really liked her personality, and I could relate to her a lot! I even inspired my OC's design off of her. Now, there are 2 things that I would change. First of all, give more spotlight to Carissa and Lyna. Like, I get they are "side characters" and all, but if they are gonna be princesses who only appear in like 7-8 episodes, why even design them in the first place? In most magical girl shows I watched, the mid-season girls became part of the main cast instead of being left out as side characters. And second, we need more LORE and backstories about Ephedia. Like, I get its about the dark lord Gramorr and his two mercenaries Mephisto and Praxina trying to take over Ephedia, but, what is their motive? How did Grammor come to be? Was it because of revenge intentions? Was he mocked by the Ephedians in some way? And how come Mephisto and Praxina be by his side? Were they his creations? Were they once innocent people who were taken away? Did they also get mocked by the Ephedians? And also, give us more lore and info about the kingdoms Xeris, Volta, Calix and Borealis. Again, this is just my opinion.

It makes me so sad that your video didn't get to as much people as it should, you make some amazing points especially the last few parts the lolirock gang is supposed to be the good empathetically people in this entire show, and yet they don't even shed one tear for the characters that could have possibly died, such a bad writing and I know they don't have the money to produce detailed episodes but they color at least squeeze and a scene or two where they actually cared enough, it just breaks my heart I really hope they bring back a Mephisto I love him so much he really was the glue that kept this entire show together I literally watched the show for him he's just an amazing character.

I agree, LoliRock deserves more attention it's one of the few unique french magical girl shows I've seen and Istill can't get over how Iris didn't shed a single tear seeing mephisto die like gurl I get it your in between of a battle but how can she be so cruel? and then at the end she says that Praxina can't blame her? Of course she can I mean II never thought Iris would be so cruel it's just way too much.

21:44 You mention, that LoliRock has a lot of references to Anime. But you don't seem to know just how many Stargate references there are. Like for example the giant Stargate reference you're using as a backdrop throughout the entire video. There is so many little details in the whole series that, if pieced together, show the creator's passion for Stargate. No one would notice them, unless you spend a year rewatching 17 seasons of Stargate plus movies and 2 seasons of LoliRock in parallel - which is what I did. And I haven't found them all. I'm sure.

Spoilers Gramorr didn’t have a backstory and that really bugged me. At the time of Lolirock finishing a few friends of mine thought it would have been interesting if he was Iris’s uncle who was jealous of the King and Queen who didn’t give him an important role in the Kingdom and none of the other kingdoms wanted anything to do with him either. I think it would have made sense to connect him to Iris to give him more depth. He showed signs of evil intent but once he found his familiar or it found him and took up the mask he became ruthless destroying kingdom after kingdom. It could explain why Banes at the end of S2 showed himself to Praxina giving her powers similar to Gramorr. If S3 did happen it would have been cool to see something like this explained. Weather Gramorr was connected to Iris’s family or just a wizard who became corrupt any kind of backstory would have been welcome.

I watched lolirock recentely because I was bored and tired. It was a good watch for these kind of moments but still after the finale of the 2nd season I wanted more....because clearly the show had much in store for us. I don't know much about money or abut the costs of the show, clearly it had to do with the low buget, but I will say the graffic, design and music was on point too. Yes it was generic at some points with the same villians and monster formula from Sailor Moon inspired by still in the 2nd season we had some characters development wich fit very well with the plot. I'll refer some of my favourites moments and it will be with SPOILERS so don't read if you didn't finish or watch the series>>>> Spoilers>>>> Iris and Nathaniel went they kiss and become a true couple>>> As many thought Nathaniel was just a character for the sake of being there and represent some of the connections Iris had on Earth. Still he was the only one to know her identity as a princess even though he forget it later on the series......because if he had not then Iris would not have a development with him and relations with characters would have been boring and have no meaning. But when they kissed and the last gem appeared, just before Praxina stole it, it was epic and meaningful moment of the series. Why? Because just as Rosie explained in her video her powers are based on emotions - another Sailor Moon reference - and that made Nathaniel important for the plot because without the gem well....Iris powers would have been incomplete. Auriana and her brother Just as described earlier Auriana is the fun of the group. She has a bubbly personality and much serious than the others girls....or just it seems to be for me. Actually a lot of you guys could argue with that but that is not how Auriana is really but rather just one of her traits of her personality. Why? Well when it is revealed that her kingdome was attacked by Graymore and her family were held captive and Auriana was the only one who got to escape, with the help or her brother, we might want to take a deep sight into her personality. Auriana loves to live in the moment because she knows how precious is every moment. That is why sometimes she tend to appear a bit over because she knows the loss she has and so she makes up for every thing in her life, including her friends. So when she learns that her brother was made a pawn by Graymore and he had to betray him for their family ....Auriana burst in sincere and desperate tears. This is a moment crucial in the series, just like when Talia thought she lost her sister and family, wich was really sad in my opinion. This is were Auriana might show just how much she closed her hearts and feelings for the sake of her mission on Earth. Aunt Ellen - her true identy as a servant of the royal family on Ephidia Aunt Ellen was not a main character but she was still present during 1st season as Iris's aunt, the woman who adopted her and raised. Little that we know that in her 2nd season she was actually on the cover mission to protect Iris, just as is explained later that she was actually send from Ephidia to Earth by the queen on Earth with Iris. I apreaciate the fact that Ellen was a loyal servant and did how her queen asked. Not to mention she kind of protect Iris from evil for like what? 14 or 15 years? For me that shows hoe powerful Ellen is as a woman and magical warrior.

If I had to improve something in lolirock it would be to not change the names of some spells, for example changing cristor tectus to critor mom and adding some details to the story of Auriana and Talia and how they met and how they arrived on earth, without talk about animating the story of Auriana's family and I would have added a deeper weight in episode 14 of season 2 when Auriana loses her brother, for example when she tries to save him and Jodan gradually falls with the twins grabbing him for example and I would have anticipated it in the previous episode. But I still like episode 14 s2 and I get sad every time I watch it again, just details that could have been added, I love lolirock. 🌙💎 💗 (just my opinion)
