sorry I'm just now seeing this, but I did not mean a "romantic" relationship. the word relationship is a neutral term and just describes how two people are connected (i.e. whether it be as friends, lovers, or as you pointed out via abuse). It does not exclusively describe romantic pairings. Humbert is a predator, and by no means did I mean to imply that he is "in a relationship" with Lo.
