I'm a fan of both of these pickups. I'm playing through a Dr.Z Jetta.

Nice playing! I liked the toneriders better and for the price they really are a great deal. Nothing wrong with lollar but they sure are pricey. It would have been nice to hear them both in the same guitar. Either way both sounded great.

Great video. I like Toneriders and Lollars and use both (Tonerider vintage plus set in a tele and a Lollar 50's wind dogear in a Junior double-cut). The lollars are a great match for a completely hollow thinline guitar. Both great pickup manufacturers. Thank you.

Thanks for watching! I appreciate your comments. I also have the Vintage Plus Toneriders in one of my Teles. The link below is a review I did 11 years ago. Excuse the bad quality lol. I have 3 other reviews on their website... kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJe7iHtsfrCcotk

Pickups are wire wrapped around magnets. So I was glad when it was the toneriders that I preferred proving that point.

I'm about to pop for a Squier Deluxe Strat that has had Tonerider P90s installed. If they sound as good as these ones I'll be very pleased. Now to get my playing up to the level of yours. 😸
