Well, now you need to do this kinda thing BUT you need to get the X amount of worst players rated in the PL from the other teams. AND they need to play at least Y amount of matches within a season etc. We need to make these harder for ya, cus somehow, you're a FM genius.

I’ve got a really irritating problem with my save. The club is £350m in debt and won’t expand the stadium to keep our income above expenditure. More annoying is the fact that I’ve got £480m in my transfer kitty from selling players I developed. For some reason the game won’t let you use this against your debt. If I could pay the debts, I’d have a huge turnover!

Try shifting it to your wage-budget, that might make them reduce it for the following season, thereby moving it to the overall balance.
