Garcia was just ridiculous. No one could hang it improvisationally, with no fear, like he could. His musicianship was right in line with Davis and Coltrane, no doubt about that.

What a great year! Jerry sounds great all the way around. Voice sweet, solos melodic, concise & clean. The only thing better would be listening to the JGB while floating down the Russian River in a tube w/a doob!

No it's Bruce sittin' in WITH Melvin. Melvin is on stage left and Bruce on stage right. Just that, on this song, none of the videos move towards Melvin so you don't "see" him, but you can hear his organ.
