Watched games live in Seoul, and the azir quadra caught everyone off guard, people were watching t1 getting chased down and suddently gen G got wiped. Some korean dude sitting a row in front of me litearlly turned around looked at me and did the scream painting. Crazy moment

Yeah, Easyhoon was considered as the better Azir player back when they were on the same team. Then Faker decided to redefine Azir by scooping out enemies from under their tower to fight, which just shocked the casters and the fans the first time he did it. I was wowed by it as well, as I watched it happen.

Faker's Azir and Easyhoon's Azir is 2 different Azir. Easyhoon play Azir as a DPS, staying backline and deal damage. Faker's Azir is a playmaker, he alway finds ways to sneak behind enemy team and scoop their carry back. And he's so good at it just made it way better than Easyhoon

Faker alone proves there's no such thing as counters, just good and bad players. I still remember his Lulu vs Ziggs, he won, and then in the next game, he was Ziggs vs Lulu, and he still won. From that I realised, "counter" is just a loser's excuse.

@@amilcarsafeca7629 I think you're misconstruing "there's no such thing as counters" to mean "if you're good enough you will stomp," which are definitely differently Knowing the champions well and their limits in the match up will at least make you not lose in an unfavourable match up, that alone proves no counter.

@@DanteLovesPizzacounters do matter, this is pro game. You can play back or you can do something to help your team. You can talk to people here so if Oner be like “hey Faker, Play back, im helping bot”or something like that or a simple “hey their jg might be at Blue and could gank mid in 2”. Notice how the map is light up like Christmas every game and compare that to your regular game? League is info game and skill so yeah. But keep in mind, counters do exist. If a one trick k’sante vs one trick Vayne go against 1v1 no jg, no mid, no adc, no sp help. Vayne takes that every day.

@@DanteLovesPizza I see your point, but you’re still losing, knowing the matchup just lets you mitigate losses, it’s part of the reason why there are matchups and meta, and why some champions won’t be played in pros despite not being weak. If a countered champion is able to play, someone is doing something wrong, it’s not the countered champion overcoming the bad matchup, it’s the opponent making a mistake

@@xsp1522 doesn't really matter... he is a goat for a reason not because he can win lane every single time but the impact he has done over the years. 2 years is little compared to his whole career and he is past his prime. He played a lot of unconventional champs in the mid lane and collected a lot of titles, you can't beat his achievements... and what has chovy collected so far? yeah....

The craziest part is, There is actually a scenario in Faker's opening that could've been a penta. If he focused on hitting Corki, Keria fronted Corki dmg AND let the soldiers hit the other guys, penta was on sight

If only faker wasn't completely 1v4. Rest of the team kinda didn't really show up to their usual standard. But maybe their standard is just so high that if it's not a win or an overtly flashy play, we don't consider it to be on their level.

This is even wilder when you consider that once several years ago Faker wasn't good at playing Azir and got benched so that Easyhoon could play it instead. You can tell that really lit a fire in Faker's heart because he came out of that humiliation with the greatest damn Azir gameplay of all time.

No cap. If you play Rumble champ in e-sport final tournament you can't tank much also can't doing damage because of half tank half ad items like Trinity Forces nerfed for Jungle lanes. Literally F tier champ in e-spor tournaments. That two quadra looks like can be see it one in a million time moment by the way.

He doesn't need to prove himself to you. He has 4 rings already, they lost to Gen.G in regionals after being healed from his injury and carried his team to qualify to the worlds as LCK 2nd seed and win his 4th ring compared to 1st seed choked. He and his team are still doing good now after getting sabotaged again and again by DDOS attack (remember they can't even Scrim or play solo que to train well "I didn't expect they will be playing in MSI cause in regionals they aren't faring well until they reached again in regional finals). Stop embarrassing yourself. There are countable players who won 2 or more Worlds title the one Closest is Bengi who won 3 alongside faker in SKT(T1), 2 Worlds title Bang and Wolf also SKT members, there is Duke who also won with SKT and Invictus, and lastly Beryl who won with Damwon and DRX. Back then he wasn't even good on control mage like Azir. It didn't even mention multiple patches(NERF) because of him, the mechanics, and play styles he popularized even the infamous Ryze nerfs.
