Why are these 12TB so expensive? How do you enable the fan to work on the D10 12TB? And does the small fan suck or blow from the vent? I mean does it blow out through the vents or blow inwards through the vents? Because I can't feel any airflow at the back vent.

Great vide 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 One question, i plan on travelling around and need more storage etc but the problem i have is that i will be switching the hard drive on and off everytime i finish editing on my laptop, is this hard drive alright to turn off an on , or is this a drive that need to stay on ( if that makes any sense 😅 )

It's a good drive with a 7200 RPM speed but my problem with it is it's not portable. It's pretty huge and bulky for an external drive and it comes with a power source adapter 🔌. I hate more cords. The P10 is a portable drive but it's a 5400 RPM which is slower. Sounds like the external SSD is the way to go for faster speed, less noise, less cords, and they are more compact but also more expensive. I'm waiting for the day the external SSD will go down in price because they are amazing after testing one out from Western Digital it was the WD Black P50

Hello, I get 60°C on this HDD WD black drive reported by active smart, probably shucking the HDD out of the case and hooking it up to my PC tower will be much better !! The 8TB inside the enclosure is an entreprise drive much more expensive bought as a naked OEM drive.

Little bit sad that you’re taking this angle when that’s not the case and there have been multiple videos which are not sponsored. I talked about it at length in the video at the start of the year explaining why it’s not a good use of KZbin, why it’s destroying my health and free time and why switching to an ad free Patreon funded experience benefits all involved. Might I suggest Twitch if you want almost daily content? This was delayed by two weeks due to the pandemic, as a result the Patreon video which is not sponsored and is funded by audience members is also delayed. It’s delayed anyway as various rumours have altered the script I’m writing, that has zero bearing on this video or others produced 👍
