Hi Can you explain how to set the float height shown @ 1:18 I can't figure out where to measure the 5mm and 18mm described in the manuel.

Hello. 5mm are between the carburetor housing and the float. Open the carburetor, turn the cover with the float, vice versa. Now the float will rest on the nail that stops the gas. On the opposite side of the float hinge, insert a 5mm long screw that will rest on the aluminum edges of the carburetor, but if you turn the screw, it must pass under the float. If the distance is greater, take the screw and gently force the float to reduce the distance to 5mm. If the distance is smaller, take a patent and slightly bend the plate that presses on the nail that stops the gas. if you know that the float is original and not broken, you don't need to check the 18mm. If you want to understand the 18mm: after you adjust 5mm below the float, close the carburettor slightly, put in a fuel hose and fill, until it stops. Take out the screws, disassemble the carburetor without spilling the fuel at all. Check in the cap where the fuel tank is, if there is 18mm from the top aluminium edge to the fuel level. The cover must be perfectly straight. I hope the explanation is useful to you. Good luck!

Salut! Daca esti inscris pe canalul meu, intra pe filmele mele si gasesti un film chiar cartea tehnica a motorului Lombardini LA 400-490. Apesi pauza pe film la paginile care te intereseaza, apesi PrtScr. (Print screen). Pe calculator deschizi Paint si dai Ctrl+V si salvezi poza si o poti si printa. Pe telefon dai pauza si faci print screen al ecranuli care se salveaza automat in galerie. Daca nu reusesti, imi mai scrii un mesaj si vedem noi alta varianta.

LA means only Petrol LDA means Diesel (D) is for Diesel. I don't have a Diesel engine, so I don't have repair book.
