One of these things was powering a massive compressor, for starting the main engine, on a Coast Guard boat my boss converted to a fishing vessel. The exhaust on it was a 30 foot tall straight pipe, no muffler or baffles, what the snap she would make at full load! I went up on the upper deck almost every time we had to run it. haha
