Is Lomography 800 good for liminal night photography? For me and my personal process, I'm not too sure that it is, but life is an adventure and I enjoy spending time working to find what works best in the modern state of film photography.

These types of videos are so much more inspiring than the ones filled with clickbait titles and archaic/generic advice, blessed be thy algo for bringing me here.

There’s something special about that overblown shot and the white box that becomes of the door and windows. I think it’s worth trying again intentionally, or maybe something I consider in my own work

I was kind of thinking the same thing. Even with the rest of the scene exposed well, there's something a little eerie and interesting about having the interior of just one door majorly blown out!

Awesome video Alex! Lomo 800 is probably one of my favorite stocks, I've shot a good bit of it at night :) I think these turned out great! Best of luck with the cameras!

Thank you so much! I think I honestly stress myself out with colors a little bit, so when the scans weren't immediately perfect, I had a little bit of doubt. I have another roll, so perhaps I'll head back out and see how lab scans differ!

Have you shot Ektar at night? Obviously much longer exposure times but it’s absolutely glorious for night photography

24 seconds in and I want to go shoot night photography. What did you meter for in those shots?

Most of the time, I try to balance between highlights and shadows, even if that means slightly blown highlights, because I think that fits the overarching theme well. But in general, if the shadows are interesting enough, I try to lean towards the shadows.
